Elon Musk says he is on track to saving a trillion dollars a year from fraud, waste and abuse. The US is spending $ 1.6 trillion this year on the military if you count not only the Pentagon budget but the 6 other agencies where military spending is hanging out. Additional savings are available if we cut back on our military mission from global to regional focusing on North America, Cental and South America and Greenland. Hint: An enormous amount of money can be saved if DOGE audits the Federal Reserve in both DC and NYC, especially if they seize the FED. The White House prior to the Putin Trump phone call was thinking that they could persuade Putin to betray Iran with whom they had signed a strategic partnership. The White House assumed that Putin would betray their ally Iran as the US had betrayed their ally Germany by blowing up their Nord Stream pipeline. The US had simultaneously sent Iran a letter demanding a re-opening of negotiations on Iran’s nuclear project. Russia and China held a press briefing with the Iranians stressing Iran’s right to develop peaceful nuclear power. Iran has no nuclear weapons but could assemble 3 atomic bombs which would eliminate Israel as a threat to their neighbors. Trump threatened to destroy Yemen for attacking Israeli shipping. The Yemenis signed the UN Convention on Genocide which obligates them to act to stop Genocide even if it is Israel doing the mass killing of unarmed civilians. Israel cut off food, water, electricity and medical aid to Gaza for almost two weeks before they resumed bombing and have now re-introduced tanks and ground troops. Yemen and the US have a Dark History. The Yemenis voted a tyrant out of office who was well liked by the Saudis. Saudi Arabia declared war on Yemen. With the help of Israel and the US they set up sanctions and embargoed food. The US successfully starved 300,000 Yemenis to death. Iran sent ships filled with food that the US was allowed to inspect, but the ships were turned back despite the large number of deaths every day from starvation. One teenage girl weighed 65 pounds (29.5 kilos) when she died. In short, Trump has hit a Yemeni wall of resistance that is being back stopped with an even larger and stronger Iranian wall. Trump can do Art of the Deal Stunts and Bluffs, but he can’t destroy Yemen. Iran won’t allow it. And he can’t bluff Iran. They have far superior weapons. Russia is in their third year of fighting a war in the Ukraine, but spends $125 billion a year, which is what America spends in a month. But due to less corruption they get more for what little they do spend. Russia upgraded the Iranian air defense system to the S-400 and then threw in elements of the S-500 due to US and Israeli threats. In Israel’s last attack on Iran, they used F-35s which they quickly learned were not stealthy. Iranian radar locked onto Israeli F-35s, so they cut their attack short. The US Patriot II is highly inferior to the old Soviet S-300 of 1978. Russia gave the Iranians their Murmansk BN. It is a 35 meter high tower using Electronic Warfare to disrupt NATO communications, radar and guidance systems. When new NATO weapons were introduced into the Ukraine, they hit their targets over 50% of the time. After 3 months, Russian Electronic Warfare reduced that to less than 8%. Russia also gave the Iranians long distance radar, so there will be no surprise attacks. The Russians also sold the Iranians SU-35 jets armed with R-37 air to air missiles. The R 37 has a 400 kilometer range. They could mount these on older jets, fire their R 37s and retreat. If the US and Israel do attack, all the US CENTCOM (Central Command) bases in the area outside Turkey will be destroyed. Hezbollah will join in. 53,000 US sailors will lose their ships with many losing their lives. Iran will launch 1,000 missiles and 1,000 drones on Day One along with 400 Hezbollah missiles and lots of their drones. Israel has 11 air bases plus a British base in Cyprus. But the Cypriots were warned so all 11 Israel Air Force bases will be destroyed and that British base in Cyprus as well. The port of Haifa and all its chemical plants will cease to exist. Israel is a weaker power and could not withstand a second round of 1,000 Iranian missiles and 1,000 drones destroying their electrical generation, oil refineries, water desalination plants and manufacturing base. They will resort to thermonuclear weapons which will justifiably enrage two billion Muslims around the world. Iran would respond by assembling 3 atomic bombs and dropping them on Israel. Spent fuel rods are much more dangerous than atomic blasts after 10 days so the enraged Palestinians, Syrians and Lebanese can take their vengeance on those few remaining genocidal Israelis. Trump has hit a Genocidal Israeli Wall. It can destroy America and even launch a nuclear war. At a minimum, it will destroy his presidency and the economy. I would expect $10 a gallon gasoline and the death of the dollar with the purchasing power of American paychecks and pensions being permanently cut 60%. Trump needs to send Steve Witkoff to Egypt and then to Tel Aviv and Jordan. He will need Egyptian assistance to break the siege of Gaza and to get the food, water, electricity and medical aid restored. He will need Jordanian assistance to remove the Israelis from the West Bank and East Jerusalem. They have many Palestinians who are currently Jordanian citizens and could help administer the newly independent state of Palestine until elections can be held. If Mr. Witkoff can pull this off, he might win a Nobel Peace Prize. I hinted at Trump’s economic problems when I said he had to solve a two trillion dollar budget gap.
