I have not posted this on my blog yet. So what if the Russians gave half a dozen 10,000 kilometer range missiles with MIRV capabilities. They have several including the Topol M which can have up to 10 renentry vehicles. These will all be made non- nulcear, but capable of hitting Diego Garcia with 10 conventional warheads easch. One MIRV for the airfield and one MIRV for the port. Or better yet two MIRVs for each target. Or 3 for the air base and just one for the port depending on the targets available.
Then the Russians could invite Iran to set up a joint sea and air base with Iran concentrating on missiles and Navy SHips.
After the selected missiles are shipped across the Caspian Sea to Iran from Russia, the Russian ambassador could call upon US officials in DC. Russian ambassados in the UK and in Brussels could give the UK government and NATO an advance warning of what is to come if there is an attack on Iran.
