The Republic of China (RoC) Air Force based on Taiwan has received its first of 66 F-16 Block 70 fourth generation fighters ordered in 2019, with U.S. Congressman William Timmons having confirmed the delivery on March 28. RoC Vice Defence Minister Po Horng-huei attended an official delivery ceremony at Lockheed Martins facility in Greenville, South Carolina, which having completed its first F-16s in November 2022 has since continued deliveries for export. According to the Republic of China Ministry of National Defence, all 66 F-16s are expected to be delivered by the end of 2026, with the aircraft intended to replace the troubled French supplied Mirage 2000 fighters which have suffered from extreme crash rates and obsolescence issues.

The US will not export the F-22 Raptor. The F-35 is junk and is not stealthy. The SU-35 is superior and has an air to air missile with 248 mile range vs 50 miles for the F-16's Phoenix missie system. The F-16 cannot get through the Chinese S- 400 air defense.
