A recent study on Lean Mass Hyper-Responders (LMHR) following a ketogenic diet has been published, showing that most participants experienced no or minimal progression of coronary plaque over one year. The study found no association between high levels of LDL cholesterol or ApoB and plaque progression in this specific group. Instead, the presence of existing plaque was the only factor associated with further plaque progression. This research challenges the conventional understanding of the relationship between cholesterol levels and atherosclerosis in this particular population. Nick Norwitz @nicknorwitz
