How do they think there is a chance to collect this amount when they are on the government dole already? ;)
23 cents an hour working in the prison workshop, any and all infractions of rules and regulations means loss of at least one entire day's wages. They stay incarcerated until they have acquired the necessary funds.
That sounds like debtors prisons. ,)
Debtors reneged on a contract. Illegals never had any intention of doing things the right way.
