Key Points

The Supreme Court upheld a lower court order that the Trump administration “facilitate” the return of Kilmar Abrego Garcia, a Maryland man who was forcibly deported to El Salvador. Abrego Garcia is being held in prison in El Salvador.

But the Supreme Court in its decision told a federal district court judge in Maryland to clarify his order that the administration “effectuate” the return of Abrego Garcia.

I was the last cowboy in Chicago. I bought my first Statson hat at Morris Men's Shop at the Stockyard Inn before it was closed and torn down.

I had a bumper sticker on my old Blazer that said, VIRGINITY IS CURABLE. I knew this girl named Virginia. She asked, "Does that mean me?" I replied, "I don't know, baby. Does it?"

She gave me the name I had in the neighborhood because of the Rhinestone Cowboy song which was popular back in the 70s.

When I made deliveries for the florist shop on the north side and they would have one for the projects, they would send it with the delivery service. Those guys were Mexicans and they carried knives. The black guys would not mess with them since a knife cut left a pink scar.

One time they forgot one and I had to take it. It was on the 6th floor. I took the elevator up and the stairs down and left to a chorus of Rhinestone Cowboy. I was wearing a cheap wool felt hat but those black guys likely had never seen a real cowboy in their lives. ;)
