• ’The writings, shared exclusively with Megyn Kelly and provided to the House Intelligence Committee, include notebooks, journals, and digital files from 2020 to days before the attack, revealing Hale’s mental health struggles, gender dysphoria, and violent ideation.
• On April 3, 2025, MNPD’s final report claimed no single “manifesto” existed, describing Hale’s writings as documenting her planning and struggles, and downplaying her gender identity as a motive. Megyn Kelly argued this was a complete cover-up, pointing to Hale’s focus on her trans identity.

— “Born a Boy, Raised as a Girl”
— “Female pronouns make me feel like I wanna die.”
