ER Editor: The curious relationship between Keir Starmer and the wealthy, Muslim and overtly gay Labour peer, Lord Waheed Alli, came out last year as it was revealed Starmer had spent a number of weeks, with his family, staying in Alli’s central London penthouse, doing broadcasts from there while pretending not to. There were other instances of Alli’s largesse toward Starmer, which did not sit well with the public. The official excuse given for staying chez Alli was that one of his boys had his school exams to study for, yet the timing is suspicious.
