Zero outrage. on May 17, 2025, in Fairview Heights, Illinois, near St. Louis, three police officers were shot by Elijah Thompson, 22, during a suspicious person call. Officer Molly Muennich, shot in the face, is critical but stable. Officers Herminio Raimundi and Andrew Ward, shot in the arm and back, were released. Two others were injured in a struggle.
