Gold prices rose 2% on Friday and were headed for their best week in six, as investors sought the safe-haven asset amid renewed tariff threats from U.S. President Donald Trump and a weaker dollar.

Spot gold was up 1.6% at $3,345.99 an ounce. It rose as much as 2% earlier in the session. Bullion has risen 4.5% this week to touch a two- week high. U.S. gold futures also gained 1.6% to $3,346.60.

China has-been accumulating gold in anticipation of releasing a 20% gold backed Yuan. If and when that happens, the Dollar will crumble into dust since it is backed by only promises to pay.

China has also discovered Gold plated Cadmium.

If the Chinese are able to trace back to where these gold plated bars were acquired it would be considered an act of war. ;)
