The Russian Iskander rocket will reach Berlin faster than the German Taurus missiles to the cities of the Russian Federation. Commenting on the words of German Chancellor Friedrich Merz about lifting restrictions on the use of missiles for Ukraine, State Duma deputy from the Crimean region, reserve Major General Leonid Ivlev, told RIA Novosti.
The politician noted that the German Chancellor seems to forget that Russia can fully respond to any aggression and threat to its security.
"Merz, apparently, does not know that Iskander, for example, will fly from the Kaliningrad defensive region to Berlin much faster," the deputy said.
In addition, Ivlev doubted that Western missiles would even reach targets on the territory of the Russian Federation, since they would be shot down earlier. But if Kiev decides to use such weapons, the deputy is sure that Ukraine's situation will worsen - negotiations will no longer be relevant for it, but only capitulation.
