Title: White Supremacists Ratchet Up Anti-Hispanic Action As U.S. Immigration Debate Rages

New York, NY, May 24, 2006 … As the national debate over immigration continues to hold the national spotlight, neo-Nazis and white supremacists have ratcheted up their anti-Hispanic action, using everything from Internet video games to street demonstrations and other confrontational tactics in an effort to exploit the debate as a means to spread hate. Their goal is to draw new attention to their hateful notions about minorities and hopes for making America a nation for "Whites only."

The Anti-Defamation League (ADL), which monitors and reports on the activities of far-right extremists, has updated its online report, "Extremists Declare 'Open Season' on Immigrants" with new information showing that extremists continue to focus their energies on Hispanic hate-mongering through racist rhetoric, crude stereotypes, and threats of using violence to intimidate illegal immigrants.

"As we have gotten deeper into the discussion on immigration, the white supremacist movement has reinvigorated itself and closed ranks around the cause of fighting immigration and turning America into a nation for 'Whites only'", said Abraham H. Foxman, ADL National Director. "The immigration debate has provided the perfect storm for America's white supremacist fringe to recruit, organize and sow the seeds of racial discord and hate."

On the Internet, right-wing extremists have championed video games such as "Border Patrol," where the aim is to shoot to kill Mexicans as they attempt to cross the border, and used their Web sites to spread hateful anti-Hispanic messages. In the real world, white supremacist leaders have organized protests and encouraged their followers to act violently against immigrants or anyone of Hispanic origin.

Anti-Hispanic Violence

ADL's report cites two recent incidents as the latest in a multi-year trend of increasing violence targeting Hispanics:

•A teenager was arrested in East Hampton, Long Island, on April 29 after he allegedly threatened a Hispanic teenager with a machete and chased a second teenager with a chain saw while shouting racial epithets. Described by classmates as a skinhead, the alleged perpetrator had posted to the Internet photographs of himself posing as a Nazi and adorning a shed with swastikas.

•David Henry Tuck, 18, and Keith Robert Turner, 17, were arrested and charged with aggravated sexual assault in the brutal April 22 attack of a teenage Hispanic high school student in Houston. The victim was beaten and sodomized with a plastic pipe from a patio umbrella, then kicked in the head with steel-toed boots.

White Supremacist Protests

In recent weeks, white supremacists have organized protests, rallies and other events across the country:

•In Seattle, Washington, and Las Vegas, Nevada, members of the neo-Nazi National Vanguard held anti-immigration protests on May 20. On its Web site, the National Vanguard declared that day to be a "day of protest against George W. Bush's plan to destroy America," calling the president's immigration proposals a "sellout of the nation."

•In Keene, New Hampshire, New England members of the Arkansas-based neo-Nazi group White Revolution held a self-described "anti-invasion" demonstration on May 7 to protest "the invasion of America by illegal non white hordes.'

•In Russellville, Alabama, members of the Alabama chapter of the Indiana-based National Knights of the Ku Klux Klan held an anti-immigration rally on May 6, yelling "Let's get rid of the Mexicans!" After the rally, the Klansmen burned a cross in a field outside of town.

•In Montgomery, Alabama, the neo-Confederate group League of the South and the Coalition against Illegal Immigration together organized an anti-immigration "Cinco de Mayo" demonstration on May 5. The event was promoted in the racist and anti-Semitic newspaper, "First Freedom."

•In Greenville, South Carolina, the racist Council of Conservative Citizens held an anti-immigration demonstration on April 29 in front of the offices of Republican Congressman Lindsey Graham, where they burned Mexican flags and displayed signs such as "More INS, Less IRS," "Vote for Pedro to Go Home," and "I Didn't Fight in Iraq for Illegal Aliens."

Blacks have been really screwed by the illegal invasion. Many of them are now having trouble getting ANY kinds of jobs, and they've fallen to the bottom of the preferred minority list. The libs don't love them anymore. I think it's terrible that Black Americans who have fought for their rights for several centuries should take the back seat to people who aren't even citizens. It's disgusting.

There is a problem with illegal immigration. But the people high on the food chain in terms of economic and political power are the people that should be the targets. They were the ones who enticed people in to destroy the job base and living standard of people here.

And they count on people being far too intimidated by their money and power to go after them, they want people to focus on a scapegoat.

The Mexicans are an easy and vulnerable target.

White Supremacist and Nationalist vultures know a good wedge issue and scapegoat when they see one and have been feasting as the carcass of the issue for quite some time now.

I monitor hate sites and one would have to be blind not to see how they focus into the possibilities with laser precision.

Mexicans and the citizens of the United States are being used by a group that should be a common enemy. The anti-immigration advocacy's greatest weakness is to not remember Christian compassion for one's fellow human being and to show empathy and love for human life as well as a discipline and adherence to the standard of law being violated.

If they ever find their better side and use it along with their sense of respect for the law, the business leaders pitting one people against another will be concerned and start sweating rather badly.

That is what I want to see; those who started the whole thing have their heads on a pike over this, not the people being exploited in the issue.

"The Minutemen project held a demonstration in Los Angeles. When the illegal aliens saw the several black men demonstrating against amnesty, they responded the most vile racial insults imaginable against the black men."

It is quite true that there is a problem with bigotry and hatred in both groups of people. I was displaced by Mexicans from working in the woods in the 1980s and I have been aware of the problem longer then many people.

I have seen both assholes and amigos when I worked with the growing influx of cheaper wage worker on the hill. I went through my period of anger and had my epiphany early when I studied the issue and realized both they and people like me were being used by a common enemy.

Creating decades long hate between the peoples of Mexico and our country is no answer to this problem. Along with an aggressive enforcement of immigration laws must come human understanding and compassion, flexibility and dialog.

There is a way for Mexicans and us to win and those who started the problem to lose. We can find the path and make this happen if we use both our hearts and minds in concert as a compass to guide us.

We do not need to hate each other to deal with the problem. We need to understand and respect each other to work together to find solutions to it that allow both groups to win, and those playing Machiavellian games with us to lose.

"Yep - only whites can be "racists." Whatever that may mean today."

Nope, all peoples are subject to suffer from that affliction. Just as all nations are susceptible to the systemic insidious disease of fascism.

I was married to a Black woman for several years and we had a son together. I met plenty of Negroes who suffered from racism. And I've been called not so nice things by Mexicans I've worked with too, as well as made enduring friends.

We as human beings must remember our strongest weapons are kindness and the power to forgive people for their trespasses. Our abilities to dehumanize and hate only compound and deepen our problems. We must at all cost avoid making those kinds of mistakes.

"Are you in favor of open borders?"

We need border control if that is what you mean. I want the borders open enough so we can share with each other, but we obviously need better enforcement of who stays and to define better the whys we decide who stays or goes.

I don't know what border enforcement dynamic will work mehitable. I do know that a border with an apartheid wall in the spirit of the evil edifice the Israelis so foolishly built is a monument to hatred and perpetuates the problems that it was meant to address.

If both the Mexican and American people work together to come to accord on the problem, I have faith that we will find they have been amicable to a solution that works for both our peoples all along.

It takes putting aside fear and hatred to do this. We have to be willing to acknowledge our mutual aspirations, hopes for the future of ourselves and our children and a willingness to help each other better ourselves to find common ground and to good neighbors and friend.

Mike, that's a total pile of crap. I don't want to share anything with the Mexicans and I seriously doubt they want to share anything with me. In fact, if you try to sneak into Mexico illegally, they shoot you - as they SHOULD. It's very difficult to immigrate into Mexico legally - they have all kinds of hoops to jump through and that is correct and right.

Again - there is NOTHING I want to share with the Mexicans. Yes, I know they're going through hard times since NAFTA came about. The answer is to repeal NAFTA. The answer is for them to take back Mexico from Vincente Fox and the other white crooks who are running it - George Bush's friends - and put their OWN people into power.

I know the corporatists are using the Mexicans, and I think the corporatists should be executed frankly, as traitors to this country. I am beyond fines and all this bullshit. I want action.

Sunday my boyfriend and me once again went to yet another state park in Massachusetts in a remote rural area hoping to find that unlike other state parks we've been to in the past couple of years, that it would not be overrun by Hispanics. Well we got there and sure enough about 80% of the crowd were Hispanics. And by GOd, they were totally obnoxious. They don't come in small groups - they come in the car loads. They don't respect the space of others at all. They were obnoxius towards us, and once again I had the sense of being a minority and under siege by a foreign people IN MY OWN COUNTRY.

I don't give a fuck about the Mexicans. I want them to go back home. I don't like them, I don't need them, I don't want them, and they have no purpose in being here. I know goddam well, they have the same opinion of us and they will not hesitate to drive us out if they get the opportunity. If you don't understand that you, have been brainwashed by this kumbayah shit or you're as thick as a plank.

Sorry, Mike, you seem like a nice guy, but you're totally wrong on this issue.

Heh, I am not ADL, thanks. And I thought you on that list would find the piece interesting and I wanted to here what you had to say about it.

You are most welcome to add my name to your list as I read what you post when I see it anyway. A ping list is not merely a collection of like minds, it should be one of common interests, even if those on it do not see eye to eye.

I didn't know it would anger you so to see me use it. I apologize for angering you in that fashion if that helps. But I don't for using it.

I have a list after a fashion, but have never really been in the practice of using one consistently enough to be motivated to make one that is all purpose.

I started posting in the Well and on http://Time.com/Politics which was a large board unto the AOL merger with http://Time.com caused it's demise in April 2001.

I still use one of my first account names, Ferret Mike. Though my first one was Hob which is the term for a male ferret. ('Hobbb' on http://Time.com as they required five character in a nick.) Before I did that I was a chronic mIRC poster and have done this sort of stuff online for over a decade now.

I cut my teeth on a different sort of posting culture then those who started out on Free Republic, and ping lists were new to me when I first joined that forum in 1998.

In any event, I hope that explains better where I come from in terms of board culture and attitudes I may have concerning ping lists and how they differ from yours' and why.

Nice dove.

Its hosting site is quite apropos. Has the ADL ever called Trotsky and the rst of the murdering thieves to account?

Note the group that met Trotsky at the pier. Hebrew Sheltering and Immigrant Aid Society (now HIAS) and the ADL are old buddies.

Trotsky the "peace preacher"

EXPELLED FROM FOUR LANDS, Pacifist Editor Here from Russia, Germany, France and Spain

New York Times, Jan. 15, 1917, pg. 2

Leon Trotzky, a Russian Journalist and Socialist, arrived yesterday from Cadiz on the Spanish liner Montserrat after being expelled from Europe for preaching peace. He said that he was a follower of Karl Marx, the German Socialist, and had represented Jewish newspapers in Petrograd and Kiev.

Through Arthur Concors of the Hebrew Sheltering and Immigrant Aid Society, who met him at the pier, Mr. Trotzky said that on account of his writings he had been sentenced to serve two years' Imprisonment In Siberia in 1900. In 1900 he had a similar sentence, making four years altogether. Part of his imprisonment was spent at Tobolsk.

When the German Emperor declared war in August, 1914, Trotzky was In Berlin editing a Jewish paper. There hours were given to him in which to leave the capital with his family and start for the Swiss frontier. He reached Zurich safely, and after remaining there a few weeks left for Paris, where he published a Socialist paper printed in Russian, Our Words, in which he opposed war bitterly and advocated peace.

The French Government ignored him until April, 1916 when the Russian troops commenced to arrive at Marseilles to act as a reinforcement in the rear of the French lines at Verdun, numbering altogether about 65,000. When the Russian Ambassador in Paris discovered through his secret service agents that the socialistic paper, Our Words, advocating peace, was being circulated among the Czar's troops In France, he communicated with the French Minister of the Interior and requested that the publication be suppressed. Trotzky was ordered to leave France, and was escorted to the Spanish frontier and went to Madrid, where he was arrested as a Socialist and locked up for three days.

After his release the Russian journalist said he went to Seville, and remained there until three weeks ago, when he was arrested by a Sergeant and two men of the Guardia Civile and taken to Cadiz, where he was detained until the Montserrat was ready to sail and then escorted to her by an armed guard.

Mr. Trotzky was accompanied by his wife and his two sons, Leon, 11 and Serge, 9

The 344 passengers on the Montserrat came from all parts of the world including Persia, Arabia, Croatia, Macedonia, Egypt, Madagascar, India and Formosa, as well as the principal European countries.

"Sunday my boyfriend and me once again..."

Oh my... I am taken aback. No offense, but I had thought you were male. :-O

Thanks for relating some of your experience. But I don't think it represents the full scope of things as I know certain crowd dynamic do differ substantially from what you experience on a one on one basis with people.

I'm sure if you got to know many in that park in smaller groups or as single individuals you would have felt less intimidated, they would be more respectful and you would find you had more in common with each other then you thought.

When I was on Guam as a serviceman, we were warned not to go to beaches that were predominantly Chimorro/Guamanian. The Japanese took over one fifth of the Island when they invaded expelling the owners. When we invaded and kicked the Japanese out, we established Guam as a U.S. territory and assumed control over every hectare of that land the Japanese took ownership of pissing off the people there royally.

They think of us as the invader there and many deeply resent our presence and role on that and other Mariana Islands. The oldest Christian Church in Asia is on Guam. It stands a ruin and in reconsecrated to protest how U.S. Forces tortured Chimorros who wanted to return to the style of governance they had before the Japanese invasion.

We imposed the government there, with ours as the template, and as they had been invaded since the Spanish first came there and took control killing every male Chimorro on all Islands (Chimorros are half Spanish), they have a deep and abiding loathing for invasion and occupation.

So you see I do understand where you are coming from far better then you think. And my views of the problem are deeply tempered my my deep understanding that we can ourselves be just as bad as any overwhelming influx of foreign nationals as we have proved this on Guam and elsewhere in the past.

I still say the problem is best solved with focus on the strengths of our better attributes then to be seduced by the angers and frustrations that bring out the worst in us or any other people.

Good post by the way, Thanks. ;-)

I totally disagree with that. I've grown up Hispanic peoples, but not in this volume of course, and I frankly dislike them. I find them rude and obnoxious and very controlling and domineering. I find, as individuals and groups, they DO indeed take over and want things their way, and they don't hesitate to try to bring that about. Moreover, what individuals may or may not be like is totally irrelevant in this argument - I am talking about the CULTURAL behavior of people in groups, because we ARE talking about large groups of people invading our country. Their cultural behavior and norms are FAR more important than personal or individual differences among them. Culturally, they are extremely aggressive. If we try this kumbayah shit on them, they won't behave as tolerant and easy going as we're supposed. They will take over. I am seeing that again and again, both as an individual (me) and in relations to large areas such as towns and cities. We know have entire towns and good parts of cities in Massachusetts - which has no natural border or is not near ANY Hispanic country at all - that are mainly Spanish speaking.

I RESENT THIS. I WANT THEM TO LEAVE. I DON'T LIKE THEM. I KNOW THEY WILL TRY TO CROWD ME OUT. You're a fool if you believe otherwise.

The Red Coats are comin', Mike, and they're not going to play tea party with us. They think we're a bunch of damn fools who can't or won't protect our own property, rights or country. And they are correct.

You don't seem to understand what an invasion IS, Mike, nor do you seem to understand that all the tolerance and willingness to accept diversity and all that crap is a total one way street. The Mexicans WOULD NOT do the same for you. They are not the same as us - culturally - and I will stick up for my own people. If I don't stick up for my own people, who the hell will? The Mexicans will do the normal and natural thing and stick up for themselves - I don't blame them for that. But if we don't do the same thing for ourselves, we will be committing societal suicide as Americans.

Do you like Mexico? Would you like to live there? I don't. And if enough Mexicans move here as squatters then de facto, they BRING Mexico WITH THEM, and that area BECOMES Mexico.

I'm speaking as someone who is observing this directly, not from some kind of theooretical platform on the moon. I'm the one trying to go to the goddam state beaches and parks that "I" pay for.

Are you familiar with the Pequot and what we did to them? I know what an invasion is. It is more then a demographic change, and I see no army nor organization to the influx like our systematic genocide of the Pequots that was so total only scattered survivors taken in by other tribes were left alive, and know that the colonial governments in new England even outlawed the utterance of the name of that tribe.

You speak of how bad Mexicans are, but they didn't invent Manifest Destiny or operate under the auspices of the Doctrine of Discovery that denied sovereignty or cultural protection to native peoples when we first came over to these continents.

They still have some bad Karma from Conquistador days, and we have the same from French and Indian War, Trail of Tears, and Western Expansion days to deal with.

Because of the big picture of our overall history as a people, we need to be careful that as we craft solutions to this problem we don't relive aspects of the problems inherent to our history as a people here in what was once called, "The New World."

There you go, beating up on the white people. This is not the problem of any race or group. It's a HUMAN PROBLEM. It's the way people behave in groups.

It's exceedingly ironic that you bring up the Pequod people because you obviously have not learned what the real lesson of that was. The real lesson was that if they had NOT BEEN NICE to the white invaders and chased them off or killed them (which is what I would have advised the Indians to do), they might have retained their land longer or got better terms later on. If anyone can tell us the downside of mass immigration by a foreign people, it would INDEED be the Indians.

As for the Mexicans, I don't think they're a "bad" people. I just don't like them personally. I probably wouldn't go to Mexico. But they're fine in their own space. We (the American people) just didn't invite them here and this is not a voluntary association. They are forcing themselves upon us, and being forced upon us by the corporatists.

"There you go, beating up on the white people. This is not the problem of any race or group. It's a HUMAN PROBLEM. It's the way people behave in groups."

It is indeed a human problem, and I am 'beating up' those who operated under the auspices of Doctrine of Discovery which is still embedded in our system of case law today.

As for the Pequot and the complex relationship between the Dutch, English and other tribes, perhaps the mass production of wampum lowering the value of that commodity annoying the Pequot was an ill advised game. The English did have a manufacturing advantage with their steel drills enough to make that a thriving cottage industry, but that directly threatened the Pequot power base in that region.

The Pequot war started when Richard Mather denounced the Pequot as the "accursed seeds of Canaan," in a sermon delivered in Boston after the murder of Boston trader John Oldham turning it into a holy war with vast religious overtones accounting for the call to genocidally kill every man woman or child of that tribe.

The Pequot has been decimated by small pox and couldn't count on the Dutch after the fort at Old Saybrook forced them to close the house of Good Hope in the Hartford area. Fights with other tribes for territory and the increasing number of Englishmen in that region created much friction between the English and the Pequot and all these factors worked to spark that genocidal incident in colonial American History.

It was a situation far more complex them "the mean Pequots not appreciating the English's peaceful side." It definitely involved our ancestor's religious sense of righteousness and the Doctrine of Discovery's lack of recognition of indigenous 'heathen' people as being human beings deserving of sovereignty.

They are migrating because of corporatists taking advantage of circumstances to manipulate them to so so to find a better life. Ironically, what is happening with them is much like the factors that sparked much of the migration to the New World by Europeans in the 16th and 17th centuries to find a better life.

I blame the corporatists as being the parties committing the felony grade crimes of manipulating to enhance and grow this migration. What crimes those coming here are committing are far less serious then their's and have circumstances in mitigation and extenuation that make the amnesty bill a far better idea then you or others here are willing to admit.

The corporatists have no such factors. They are like any rich and powerful people; all they crave is more power and more capital.

"When in history have migrants ignored the laws of a sovereign nation?"

Ours and those of people from Spain, Portugal, and other nations got around it by using a papal document issued forty years before Columbus' voyage. In 1452, Pope Nicholas V issued to King Alfonso V of Portugal the bull Romanus Pontifex, declaring war against all non-Christians throughout the world, and specifically sanctioning and promoting the conquest, colonization, and exploitation of non- Christian nations and their territories.

In an 'Inter Cetera' document, Pope Alexander said that the "discovered" people be "subjugated and brought to the faith itself." Later when Portugal protested this concession to Spain, Pope Alexander stipulated in a subsequent bull - issued May 4, 1493 - that Spain cannot establish take lands which had already "come into the possession of any Christian lords." To mollify the two rival leaders, the pope drew a line of demarcation between the two poles, giving Spain rights of conquest and dominion over one side of the globe, and Portugal over the other.

The genocide and conquest committed by Columbus and his men against the peaceful Native people of the Caribbean were sanctioned by the above mentioned documents of the Catholic Church. These papal documents were frequently used by Europeans in the Americas to justify an very inhuman style of colonization - which dehumanized the indigenous people by regarding their territories as being "inhabited only by brute animals."

The Christian "Law of Nations" asserted that Christian nations had a divine right, based on the Bible, to claim absolute title to and ultimate authority over any newly "discovered" Non-Christian indigenous peoples and their lands. Over the next several centuries, these beliefs gave rise to the Doctrine of Discovery used by Spain, Portugal, England, France, and Holland.

So to answer your question, our ancestors did. And you could say because they would not recognize the humanity and rights of the indigenous people no sovereignty was violated as none was recognized.

But that was very disingenuous as way to get around the problem of ignoring laws and rights of people with sovereignty, isn't it?

Besides, you see ploys in how I toy with words, I see them in the words of many who post from the right wing end of the political scale, so what is so diabolical about your observations when from my perspective I see much of the same thing from my point of view emanating from others?

Yeah, Red Coats can fight; Mexicans can't. The only battle they've ever won was the Alamo, in which they outnumbered and outgunened the defenders, and later in the Battle of San Jacinto, when the Texans went over the top of the barricades the Mexicans turned tail and ran rather than fight.

I have no use for Mexicans. We should have kept the country when we conquered it. Mexicans have certainly shown themselves unable to govern it, not surprising since Mexicans are a failed race, and as such, Mexico is a failed country, and always will be.

Hey Mike. I'm 56 y/o and what you describe above is exactly what I've lived with all my life - this despite the abolition of the Jim Crow laws, the installation of the Great Society and forced integration via school busing. After all these sociological convolutions, in NYC today, blacks live with blacks, whites with whites and Hispanics with Hispanics. We're back to 1963 and it's fine by me. People are free to live where they want, including the racially pure enclave of their choice. I fully support the Nation of Islam and their desire for racial separation. I'd be more than happy to divide this nation up by race. I prefer to live with whites, sit with whites, socialize with whites, but I reserve the right to integrate with other people where and when I choose. They, of course, can refuse this right of association. It’s called freedom.

You are blurring freedom of association and the propensity people sometime have to chose those of similar background and who have been victim to some degree of the taint of racial bigotry to not want to associate based on race from the wholesale call to carve a White homeland out of the United States precipitating a disintegration of the Union and an end or minimization of the U.S. Constitution.

Not only is this foolish and endangers entire populations to be preyed upon by ethnic cleansing and force thousands to become refugees, it offers other foreign powers the chance to come in and pick off some of the new, smaller nations.

White nationalism is a bad concept based on exploiting racial, religious or ethnic fears and intolerances to destroy the United States and to make a Balkanized mess out of it.

You are four years older then I and I remember much the same historic time period.

In many places people mix and get along just fine too. There is no need for White nationalism to fix what is not broken.

The trend in places like NYC you cite today is not what it was in the Jim Crow days and as we get older, more mature as a people and a nation there will continue to be far less separation between people by that basis.

Which is why it is a perfect wedge issue for racists to exploit in their desire to create a homeland with it's own laws against people who look different then they do.

No thanks, I am too smart to buy into the hate and bait tactics of wedge issue politics.

"Recall that Zionists were the last supporters of Biko's murderers. You support the ADL, one of the heads of the Zionist hydra in America." Yes, there was indeed an unholy alliance between Israel and the South African Government of that era. The Israelis were instrumental in helping them bypass much of the weapons and military equipment embargo, and U.S. satellites picked up a "zoo animal," code word for nuclear test occurring in South Africa that undoubtedly was the test firing of an Israeli Nuclear weapon.

I remember this well, and this was one of my earliest sources of frustration and anger at the government of Israel.

As far as the ADL goes, I support Good work they have done just as I support Israel's right to exist. I have my criticism of both as well as my praise, which is why I found your comments in your ping to Christine so amusing.

I loathe Bush and much of the co opting of the government by large trans- national corporations, but that doesn't mean I am anti-American and don't support the U.S. government when it does good things. You made a buried point about it 17 days ago (and not as the result of a direct question from me about Israel's "right" to exist). I suppose it speaks well of you that you recall your own words, though it took you awhile to do so.

If it's ok to use force, land theft, murder and fraud to carve the Jewish state out of the Arab world, with all of the blood and turmoil that's accompanied it, I don't understand your inconsistent belief that others aren't allowed to do the same, but I suppose it's another manifestation of the racial and cultural supremacy that you espouse.

For the record, I'm opposed to countries being carved out by Imperial force for special interests, whether it's based on racial, ethnic or any other arbitrary lines of division.

Well that is your opinion and mine is the creation of Israel in the aftermath of the Shoah is justifiable and my belief in the right of Israel to exist is a very very old and strong belief of mine I am not going to change.

The Jewish people have suffered a broad spectrum of Anti-Semitic tactics and efforts to destroy, harass and harm them since the country disappeared centuries ago.

In light of the six million Jews and other peoples who died due to the Nazi German genocide, it is logical to end a major vulnerability of the Jewish people and re-create Israel. They certainly have policies and beliefs I do not share and I have my strong dislike with aspects of current policies and past actions of their's I am less then happy with.

I am even more deeply unhappy however with a continuation of the poison or anti- Semitism unabated from the days before World War II, and I would never ,ever drop my support of Israel's existence in large part because of it.

I have missed this great debate. My opinion is, during the 90s and earlier, many immigrants came over for work, went back when the season ended, then returned when the season started. Now, they can't go home, because the chances of getting back are really low. And now they need year round work, and have to bring their families here.

Enforcement is working backwards.

Economically, there is no question that big business is using immigrants to keep wages down. Just one example: roofers used to make big bucks, like $20 an hour back when that was a lot of money. Now roofers get about $10 an hour in a lot of areas, while the price of houses has skyrocketed. If you're a big homebuilder, you LOVE DOSE IMMIGRANTS.

The blame put on immigrants is misplaced. Greedheads are luring them here by promising they won't check their papers and they will be able to work. Tyson always gets the blame, but there are thousands of businesses everywhere who deliberately attract immigrants. It's not an accident that Mexicans are flooding Illinois, Minnesota, North and South Carolina, Georgia, Arkansas, Tennessee and so on, after the big states like Texas and California.

Yeah, there are jobs Americans will not do. For $4 an hour. When I was a kid, I worked as a dishwasher, which is a nasty, underpaid job. Now it's even worse, and there is no way I, if I was still 17, would take that job.

It's kinda funny, but a friend of mine had to visit the emergency room and didn't feel like waiting 4 hours for service.

He went to the Army surplus store and bought OD pants and shirt and put on a couple of patches he picked up earlier.

When he walked into the ER it was surprising how many got up quickly and left. I guess they weren't really that sick.

Here was the patch on his shirt.

One of the first things I did when I moved to Oregon in the early 70s was help picket Safeway over their sale of iceberg lettuce to support Ceasar Chavez and the United Farm Workers Union.

I agree, this problem is a complex one and guest workers have a necessary role. I also believe that opportunistic people have taken advantage of the situation for their own personal gain.

My reforestation company employer had a difficult time finding contracts for tree p planting to win because companies with strict policies of hiring only illegals charged dirt cheap prices per acre to do the work.

Some even underbid and lost money and used the contract as a vehicle to launder drug money which was especially hard to take. I made 17 to 20 dollars an hour planting. I was a high roller who planted near the lead of the formation.

As the lead dog never got inspected a fast and uncaring planter with shitty quality always got that slot which used to aggravate me. I refused to lower my production quality for any reason, always planted good trees and never stashed wood (hid seedling to make me look faster then I was.)

Mexicans always seemed to hate to be plucked (hit up for some seedlings in their bag when you ran out.) One amigo was so incensed once he threw the wet rooted bundle I asked for in my face and both of us got kicked of the hill that day for fighting.

We went to the crummie (work vehicle) and soon forgot the anger and spent the time waiting for the return of the crew laughing, joking and smoking bud.

With the advent of the day of Mexican planter, the refuge for the counter- culture planting was dried up. Wymen who had been able to plant topless had to start wearing bras and eventually quit the work. Mexican men had a hard time adjusting to the sight of that aspect of the work.

I had my day of aggravation directed at the amigos in the 1980s when this displacement happened. As I realized that they were puppets and pawns in the game every bit as I was, I learned to look past that and direct my anger at the greedy ones exploiting them to screw up my income.

I'm still a competent planter who is fast enough to plant the middle of the line or tail. Maybe I'll someday get to do this job I loved so much just one more time before I die. It was the only job I ever had where I could smoke a bowl in front of the Forest Service inspector and merely get asked how my day was going.

I loved the freedom and being in the wild lands doing this work. I know for a fact that the old saw that Americans won't do this work is bullshit. If we got paid enough, it was a primo job. And I will always miss being on the Greenhill Reforestation Inc. Crew or the Hoedad Tree Planting Cooperative to my dying day. ;-)

I rather thought not, but thought I should ask for clarity's sake.

But we should also clarify "acceptable". After all, in a system of individual freedom and freedom of association, there will always be some people that do things we ourselves don't find acceptable, but which we nevertheless tolerate, for the sake of freedom and self-determination.

Would you tolerate the creation of an explictly white nation and state, leaving aside for the moment precisely where such a nation would be (except perhaps for the caveat that it be far away from you)?

No I wouldn't. I am deeply and profoundly aggravated by the use of Hitler, the Swazi, and other fascist trappings of White nationalists. Their hatefulness, flawed modus of thinking where everyone is to blame for their hatreds and intolerances but themselves along with the historical record of Manifest Destiny, The Doctrine of Discovery, the Crusades, Christian Identity Doctrine, and other trappings of this belief system is profoundly revolting to me.

I see any White only state as a target. And would not be satisfied until such an entity was profoundly destroyed unconditionally.

I see such people in deep denial concerning the deepness and extent of the wrongs such mindsets have produced. I see them always unwilling to be accountable for the bad Karma of previous White nationalist efforts of various sorts, and this is unacceptable to me.

I guess Mike has never been to Mexico. If they had their way, there would be no White people in that country.

I look at things this way.

People of the world should be able to live, and freely associate with whomever they choose, with the exception of politicians, pedophiles, rapists, killers, gang bangers, and other riff raff.

I'd like to have a perfect world, but unfortunately some people aren't ready to live in a civilized world. This is why some people would love to see a White Only country, Black Only country, brown only country, or yellow only country.

The issue here isn't about getting along, it's about being able to associate with people who you choose. Some people prefer the company of people who are the same as them. I think people should be free to choose whatever life they want to lead, so long as it doesn't hurt people, or bother the rest of us.

I don't really give a damn about race, what I care about is what my country will be like in 5 years. Will my country be the place that it is now, or will it be better if we are inundated with criminals? That is EXACTLY what the illegal alien problem is. A flood of criminals who are willing to STEAL in order to get what they WANT. They can get what they need in Mexico. What they WANT, is what we have in America.

If they would work so hard to take back their own country from the usurpers who have destroyed it, they might actually have a nation that is the envy of the world. Instead, they're doing what they've always done. They're going to steal what they can, because why create your own prosperity, when you can steal it from someone else with a lot less effort.

What's that Mr. Nipples? You want me to ask the nice lady about her rack?.

It's never justified to commit a long injustice against innocents in an effort to right an injustice that happened on another continent.

And that's just the Holocaust Museum in DC. We haven't even gotten into the Muslim and Christian innocents in Palestine that have been raped, murdered and had their land and livelihoods stolen.

Save that stuff for the fundraisers and the press releases. It's programming, not discussion.

Most Jews were living in Greece and Egypt when Jerusalem was flattened by the Romans. ~20% of the population between Rome and Jerusalem were Jews of some type or another. They lost position, not a country.

In light of the six million Jews

"Debatable, unless history is illegal in whatever country you debate it in."

Bullshit. The historical fact is incontrovertible. The game Holocaust deniers play is to cast aspersions on well documented fact with hide the peas in the shell verbiage to try to obscure it to justify a return to the good old days of pogroms against scapegoated Jewish people.

The facts are in the way of effective use of a favorite wedge issue and you don't like it.

Anti Shoah advocacy is an assault against the historic record to further an agenda of hatred. The fact you can't handle the truths your problem, not the world's.

(1). Well that is your opinion and mine is the creation of Israel in the aftermath of the Shoah is justifiable and my belief in the right of Israel to exist is a very very old and strong belief of mine I am not going to change.

(2). The Jewish people have suffered a broad spectrum of Anti-Semitic tactics and efforts to destroy, harass and harm them since the country disappeared centuries ago.

(3). In light of the six million Jews and other peoples who died due to the Nazi German genocide, it is logical to end a major vulnerability of the Jewish people and re-create Israel.

(4). I am even more deeply unhappy however with a continuation of the poison or anti- Semitism unabated from the days before World War II, and I would never ,ever drop my support of Israel's existence in large part because of it.

(1). Are you of the opinion that the State of Israel's legitimacy is based upon an alleged promise that God made to Abraham that is noted in Scripture ? (And are you an Ashkenazi Jew ?)

(2). Right, there's been a worldwide conspiracy of bigots that have allowed the "persecuted" Jew into their country simply to further the persecution. Whaaa, every nation that has been forced to expel the Jew was wicked and the Jew was good.

(3). Much evidence exists today demonstrating collusion between the hierarchy of Zionism and the Nazis that resulted in the deaths of lesser brethern Jews for the sake of establishing a State of Israel in which people that had no historic or ethnic relation to claim would be allowed to murder and kill innocents in order to establish the Terrorist State of Israel. I personally think they are one and the same, with similar beliefs and methods of operation. Zio-Nazis !

(4). Ashkenazi Jews descend from Japeth not Shem [Genesis 10:3]. Today, the Ashkenazi make up 92% or more of modern Jewry according to the Encyclopedia Judaica. The term semetic indicates descendancy from Shem. The Ashkenazi aren't even semetic ! The Ashkenazi were known as Khazarians and they converted to Judaism (Talmudism) in 750 AD. There is no proveable link between Abraham and the Ashkenazi Jews.

Modern day Jews and Christians have been deceived by their respective leadership. 1st, the land was promised to 12 Tribes, not the interbred portion of one. 2nd. The Ashkenazi converted to Judaism long after the alleged promise was made to Abraham a descendant of Shem, not Japeth.

And lastly, in a modern secular world, where a great deal of the international community embrace a variety of religious views based upon other texts than the Scriptures, it is beyond ludicrous to even imagine displacing through genocide a people that have lived in Palestine for thousands of years, based upon an unwitnessed promise made by an invisible God to a man that lived 4000 years ago.

And here's the straw that breaks the camel's balls, this fraud we call the State of Israel is the creation of Lord Rothschild (you know the criminal banking cabal) and Lord Balfour ie., the Balfour Proclamation, and implemented by the godless UN ... any professing Christian that could think anything good would fall from this poison tree is in derision and should have DUFAS stamped on their knucklehead.

Think on this factoid Christian soldiers ... why is there NEVER any mention of a SYNAGOGUE in the Old Testament. Because the religion conducted in a SYNAGOGUE was never practiced by the Israelites, but descended upon Jerusalem/Palestine from BABYLON after the 2nd Captivity. Why is the SYNAGOGUE described in Revelation 2:9 and 3:9 as "THE SYNAGOGUE OF SATAN" ??? Wake up ! The State of Israel is central to the chaos that is intended to bring WW III into our living rooms. It is an artifice just like Rome and the Catholic Church, created to manage the masses and terrorize them to the benefit of the satanists ruling the planet.

I highlighted the paragraph that describes the most compelling reason I support the existence of Israel. Without this state the Jewish people are cannon fodder against people like you whose anti-Semitism builds conspiracy theories and leverages genetic pedigrees to justify their use of the Jewish people as the scapegoat in their wedge issue building.

To justify your racist aspirations for a White nationalist agenda of ethnic cleansing and even a separate state where the Constitution doesn't interfere with your demagoguery you need a focus to use to try to panic and scare people into accepting an agenda they normally wouldn't buy.

The establishment was assured because people like you got in power in Germany and demonstrably showed what letting your anti-Semitism leads to if allowed to run it's full course.

Six million people murdered by others like you call bullshit on your agenda of hating and baiting.

ERETZ-ISRAEL [(Hebrew) - the Land of Israel, Palestine] was the birthplace of the Jewish people. Here their spiritual, religious and political identity was shaped. Here they first attained to statehood, created cultural values of national and universal significance and gave to the world the eternal Book of Books.

After being forcibly exiled from their land, the people kept faith with it throughout their Dispersion and never ceased to pray and hope for their return to it and for the restoration in it of their political freedom.

Impelled by this historic and traditional attachment, Jews strove in every successive generation to re-establish themselves in their ancient homeland. In recent decades they returned in their masses. Pioneers, ma'pilim [(Hebrew) - immigrants coming to Eretz-Israel in defiance of restrictive legislation] and defenders, they made deserts bloom, revived the Hebrew language, built villages and towns, and created a thriving community controlling its own economy and culture, loving peace but knowing how to defend itself, bringing the blessings of progress to all the country's inhabitants, and aspiring towards independent nationhood.

In the year 5657 (1897), at the summons of the spiritual father of the Jewish State, Theodore Herzl, the First Zionist Congress convened and proclaimed the right of the Jewish people to national rebirth in its own country.

This right was recognized in the Balfour Declaration of the 2nd November, 1917, and re-affirmed in the Mandate of the League of Nations which, in particular, gave international sanction to the historic connection between the Jewish people and Eretz-Israel and to the right of the Jewish people to rebuild its National Home.

The catastrophe which recently befell the Jewish people - the massacre of millions of Jews in Europe - was another clear demonstration of the urgency of solving the problem of its homelessness by re-establishing in Eretz-Israel the Jewish State, which would open the gates of the homeland wide to every Jew and confer upon the Jewish people the status of a fully privileged member of the comity of nations. Okay, here's the other thing you don't seem to get (because you'd rather just blame white people for their past misdeeds). Guess what - we can BOTH hate corporatists and want to restrict their behaviors that are having such a negative impact on America AND want to send the Mexicans back to their homeland. There is no conflict between these two ideas. We can believe in both and we could DO both if we had the political will. You are setting up a false dichotomy.

Moreover, I am not ready to absolve the illegals from their responsibility for breaking our laws rather than straightening out THEIR OWN COUNTRY. THAT'S what they should be doing. Instead of marching in the streets of OUR country, where they should HAVE NO RIGHTS AT ALL, they should be marching in the streets of THEIR OWN COUNTRY, demanding change, and possibly rioting or accomplishing such change by violent means if that's the only thing that will be successful. They need to go back and fix their own countries. As long as the US exists as some magic safety valve that these corrupt countries can dump their poor on, these countries WILL NEVER CHANGE.

I never did anything to these people and neither did my Canadian and New England forbears (did I spell that right?) This kumbayah crap is totally one sided. We're supposed to make room for them, and make life easier for them, and tolerate them and celebrate their diversity, meanwhile, they don't remotely do the same for us. They don't even do basic things like conduct their business in English. If you try to make them do that, they bring suit against you.

The historical fact is incontrovertible.

All of history is open to question. That Germany targeted Jews is known, just as the Jewish/German Weimar Government's targeting of Gypsies in the 1920's is also known.

If your primary interest is making sure that everyone agrees on six million dead people and gas chambers, whether through name calling or threat of legal action, methinks you're going to miss the finer points of history.

Like Zionist cooperation with the Nazis. And Communist war crimes. And international corporate backing of the Nazis, the Communists and the Americans.

My favorite trivia from the era: Max Warburg was the only director of I.G. Farben NOT prosecuted for war crimes. You do know the Warburgs, yes?

I can find no evidence of mass death using gas chambers. Eisenhower, Churchill and DeGaulle neglected to mention them in their various accounts of WWII. If you can present actual physical and forensic evidence of mass deaths using gas chambers, then I might respect your faith in the "Story".

BTW, have you ever read the Nuremberg transcripts? Do you actually believe the crap they were pushing at those trials, such as 20,000 Jews being incinerated in an atomic blast at Auschwitz?

You won't confront the methodology of Holocaust denial to start with a premise that there was no Shoah and to work back wards to try to find evidence this is so.

This is largely why your stuff has so little credibility. Despite having destroyed as much evidence to the Shoah as possible in the waining days of the ware, hundreds of thousand of documents still exist damning the Nazis in the implementation of their "final solution."

I'll be back after work and and well interlocate some more in regards to the Shoah, but suffice it to say in light of the evidence, you are the on facing a daunting burden of proof problem, not those documenting what happened to millions of genocidal murdered people.

No one with reason intact can deny that innocent Jews suffered in the 1930's and 1940's. By the same token, no one with reason intact can assert that what happened went down the way the ADL and other B'nai B'rith fronts claim as there's no actual evidence for it.

That same reason also gently instructs us that Jews were a fraction of the innocents that suffered. I grant no special dispensations to any group to claim a monopoly on suffering.

I can't help it if people in Africa are still carrying water from the local stream in baskets on their heads, or people in Backassastan are wearing the same clothes their great grandparents wore in the 14th hundreds. I'm sick of apologizing for progress. Without Western civilization there would be no America, and as flawed as it's become, it's still the best there is. I don't want to live in Mexico and I don't want Mexico moving to a neighborhood near me.

I don't hate other people, or fear them (without reason). I don't care what color they are or what religion they practice - but STOP telling me that I owe them something or I should excuse myself for breathing because they live BLEEPED up lives in their own countries. They've been made to feel bad or guilty about being from a white, European Christian background. Now I don't white wash things, and I know, of course, that white European Christians have done a lot of bad things. But...so has everyone else. Everyone has the capability of good and evil. I think we owe our country and our constitution and our legal system and system of government, to those white European Christians from whom it emerged. People all over the world may have strengths and weaknesses, but I would say this system that our ancestors created has been one of our greatest strengths and we should be proud of it.

Well, Mike's a real lib. I'm sure he sees that the Mexicans are by and large, pretty poor people, and they have been exploited and abused. But he can't seem to work out that there are consequences to our just letting them pour into OUR country and change our country so that eventually large parts of it become just like theirs. That's the inevitable result when you let vast uncontrolled numbers of people in from one particular ethnic group. They don't change...they change the area they're in. That wouldn't be such a bad thing, maybe, if Mexico were a great place and well run. But it's not, and the Mexicans bring the same problems WITH them. Moreover, if we continue to care more for other people then we do for ourselves and the welfare and well-being of our own kids, then we won't have much, if anything left for ourselves, because that is a white liberal guilt thing. Other peoples DON'T have that mentality and would not hesitate to grab the last banana (so to speak) and let us starve. The generosity and tolerance WE are expected to show to others would not be shown to us. We can see this graphically when we compare Mexico's laws and practices (particularly regarding immigration) to ours.

Actions have consequences. When you act like a sucker and give away your rights and wealth, people just take more. They lose respect for you. The Mexicans (and other illegals - I just focus on the Mexicans as they're such a large group and a unique problem because of our shared border) have demonstrated a complete lack of respect for our laws, sovereignty, language, customs, and people. We disregard that at our peril.

He fails to recognize the organized design to this insanity. This invasion is driven by big religion, corporate America, and a unified political class driven by the CFR and their quest for a borderless North America. There’s no need to source their many white papers, we now the agenda, as does Mike. What Mike fails to see is the danger of the “tipping point.” When there are more minorities in America (I believe the year 2050 is projected as the tipping point) these now gardeners, cleaners and day laborers will no longer accept such positions. They’ll be in a position to dictate to us what they’ll do and when they’ll do it. On the plus side, I’ll be long dead….on the minus side, so will the nation.

JT, I'm sick of the double standard. I'm sicking of apologizing for 2000 years of European history.

Let them do something about it. You mean to tell me the Indians haven't found out about birth control yet? Or the South Americans? IF they want to believe the crap peddled by the Catholic Church that is their problem. I'm FED UP.

A fair comment. Let's just remember that our wingnuts have had a great deal to do with their standard of living. We've assassinated their leaders, given billions in aid to fascists (see Reagan, Negroponte, El Salvador, Guatamala, et al), raped their economies, and used their people as a nearly free workforce.

If I was a person working in a factory in Guatamala for $2 a day, 12 hours, no health insurance, I would beat feet to get here and earn $10 an hour with healthcare.

And don't think for a minute that big business isn't cleverly advertising those jobs in the underground economy. Illegals know exactly which corporations won't ask questions, and people like Tyson are in DC gutting any serious attempt to force employers to do background checks.

On NPR today, they found a guy who got a job at an unidentified company by using the SS number 666-66-6666. He was there for over two years.

We have a right, just like every other country, to limit who enters our country. But we are in a fairly unique situation: the richest country in the world bordering one of the poorest, and that country borders many of the poorest countries in the world.

There's an interesting model the Greeks came up with a long time ago. A whole town in Greece chips in and buys a diner or restaurant here. Young people, men mainly, work basically for free for several years to keep costs down. The profits are shipped back to the town, and everyone works for a few years, then goes home to get married and have a free house and live off the earnings of the diner.

Latin Americans would probably go for a similar deal (a lot of them are doing it right now...a woman who owned two restaurants and shipped the profits home to her town in Mexico was recently deported in Illinois after a raid...but her town still owns the restaurants).

Enforcement sounds great, but a more porous border would probably be better. Most Mexicans and Latinos really want to just earn some money and go back home. But since it is so hard to get over the border, they feel they can't risk it.

I hate to agree with Bush about anything, but guest worker programs, enforced very strongly, is probably the best way to go. If someone really wants to stay here, make them go to the back of the line.

But frankly, if you don't want to pay $13 for strawberries (or have our strawberry industry wiped out by Brazil and Mexico), undocumented workers are a necessity.

A few months back, NPR had a series of reports on the so-called social conservatives. They had a bunch of church ladies from Plant City, Fla. on. They were spitting venom about democrats, gays and immigrants, and praising Bush as a godly man. One woman said, without irony, that she wanted to kick every illegal out of the country except the ones who pick her strawberries, because without them she would go broke.

Most latinos are great family people who contribute to the communities they inhabit. I live in Chicago, and Mexicans here are generally very well-liked. There's a garden center right out my back door, and I am pretty sure most of the employees are illegals. The owner is a legal Mexican and a great guy. I rescued his brother, who was at a trade show here and was trying to figure out how to find his brother. After talking in broken Spanish and English, I said, your brother is right next door to me, and took him there. I have a friend for life.

Like everything, there's good and bad. I think Latinos add a lot to our country, but we have to find a way to let them come for a few years, then go home, then perhaps come back at some point. The problems come when they settle here permanently and have to find ways to survive without being discovered.

First off, I can't be held to blame for what "our leaders" are doing, both in business and in economics. Most Americans can't. We don't CONTROL WHAT IS HAPPENING. We don't have a democracy anymore, in any real sense, and haven't for some time. Therefore, it's not our fault that these elitists are raping these poor nations. I recognize this is happening, but - guess what? Now they're raping US too. I take no responsbility for that and neither I nor my family, nor anyone I know has contributed to any of that.

You made a lot of points which I really don't have time to address at this point, but let me make a stab at a couple.

What is happening with illegal immigration is not a voluntary association for most Americans. We, on the whole, did not agree to this, nor do we want these people here. You can see this in virtually any poll you take. These people are being FORCED on us, and we are being asked to adapt to people who are breaking OUR laws and invading OUR country. I have no patience with that. I don't care what they're like as people. Personally, I really can't stand them. But that's just me. I hate their language, and I find them obnoxious. That's a cultural thing. Apparently many, if not most, Americans agree with me.

There is a particular problem here with so many illegals coming from a border country. If a few thousand Haitians slip in here illegally - who cares really? They shouldn't do it, they should be rounded up, but it has no real impact on the country. If 10% of Mexico slips in here (and up to 40% WANT to come here), that has a REAL impact on our country. At some point, with enough Mexicans here - WE BECOME MEXICO - or a good part of our country does. From what I've heard of it (never having been there and having no desire to go), Mexico SUCKS. And if enough of them move to various parts of our country - they won't have to leave and we won't be able to make them. That's what's happening RIGHT NOW. It's not like the Greeks who come here for a short period of time and then go back home to their very distant land to live permanently. The Mexicans wno't have to go home. They'll just turn THIS into Mexico. Or those areas that are close enough to Mexico.

In another generation, maybe less, we are going to lose large areas of the SouthWest defacto to Mexico. At some point, when enough people of one nation move to another nation and maintain their same cutoms, practices, and language, that area BECOMES the country they came from. That's the essential problem with not allowing the illegal flow from a BORDER country.

As for $13 strawberries - what is America worth? Should we sell our country like Esau in the Bible for a bowl of pottage? Should we sell it for cheap Chinese goods that WE used to make? Should we sell it for $4 boxes of strawberries? Damn it, man, if that's the price for America, I am willing to give up strawberries for life. We don't need anything that much.

Moreover, that $4 is not the real price for a box of strawberries. The real price is all the things that we pay for because of illegal immigration that is not in the price of the good itself The things that the corporation doesn't cover in their pricing - like transportation for illegals, health care, education, nursing care, state parks, prisons, etc. WE, THE AMERICAN PEOPLE, PICK UP THOSE COSTS. And those strawberries probably cost a hell of a lot more than $13 a box when all of these REAL costs are factored in.

And how long will Mexicans be content to be our slave labor? Do we, or people like you who support open borders, expect them to pick our fruits and clean our offices for generation after generation after generation? is this the destiny of the Mexican people - to do all the crap work that we won't do at those wages? (and it's not just low wage jobs - many Mexicans are getting GOOD jobs, but the wages are being depressed because corporations don't want to pay them - it brings down the ENTIRE wage structure). All societies look for some group of people to exploit and do the work that people don't want to do, and for which we want to pay low wages as we regard the work as "beneath" us somehow. That's why slavery exists. The answer is to recognize this and not to give in to this desire to exploit people. If we can't get the job done at a decent living wage, then it should not be done at all. PERIOD. Do without it, or pay for it.

What happens when those service jobs dry up? will all those Mexicans go home, or will they go onto our welfare rolls and demand benefits? or will we have a large, angry permaenent underclass with no means to move up as we have a dying middle class. There's no where for them to go.

I think your thoughts about this are extremely short-sighted and clouded by your sympathy for the Mexican people and their poverty. I can sympathize with that but the answer is not to screw up the United States - the answer is to fix Mexico. These people need to return home and demand better leadership - or kiil the ones they have and install decent leaders in their place. Mexico has great natural resources and could be a rich country for all its people, but its elite are screwing over their people, just as we are seeing in America. Immigration is not the answer. Taking control is.

When there are more minorities in America (I believe the year 2050 is projected as the tipping point) these now gardeners, cleaners and day laborers will no longer accept such positions.

That's why these arguments about who's going to clean the offices or pick the strawberries are a bunch of bulls**t. That's just what's happening NOW. What's it going to be like in a generation or two? Do they think that Mexicans are somehow born with some intense burning desire to clean offices and pick fruit? Don't they think at some point these people and their children are going to get fed up and say "bleep this, gringo"!!!! I want what YOU have. And how are they going to get that in a country with a dying middle class? there are far fewer ways for people to work their way up any kind of economic ladder. all this does is create a large, permanent, angry, and alien underclass who will grow to hate us.

And if they stop picking those fruits and cleaning those offices, then WHO does those jobs? What will be the next wave of poverty stricken people we're supposed to take in to exploit and use as slaves? Because that's what they are - slaves. The very same literal economic arguments used by planters in pre-Civil war days to justify slavery are the SAME arguments being used by those who bolster this illegal immigration and talk about how whether we want $13 boxes of strawberries. I would prefer NOT to eat strawberries again, if the real price is the loss of my country and the on-going exploitation of a foreign, poverty stricken people. That is disgraceful.

We lost the country when big agribusiness took over after the family farmers were driven off the land.

The solution is parity. Everyone deserves a fair price and a living wage for what they produce. And the greatest benefit would be economic stability and an economic engine which keeps humming along with the 1 to 7 "trade turn", that is, for every dollar paid to a farmer, it produces $7 further along in the economic cycle as the farmer spends his earnings back into the economy.

We would not see the death of rural America as we have since the late 50s after Ike pulled the plug on parity in 1953. But then the corporations could not make a profit if they had no workers in the metro areas they could plunder. The Mexicans have now taken the place of farm wokers of days gone by. And now with the burden of free trade taking away the industry and manufacturing of the nation, we will soon suffer the fate of Bolshevik Russia and the state capitalism fostered by that group of thugs, murderers and elitists.

What these do gooders refuse to consider is racism; not white racism directed toward invaders, but racism directed toward whites by the invaders. For Foxman and the ADL to paint whites as acting less than compassionate is an intentional provocation. It isn’t normal to welcome criminals who are here to steal our culture, our jobs and our nation. Do the Mikes of this world live in an alternate universe? How can they believe this racist ADL bilge? When entire segments of America grow into barrios, we Americans will be the unwelcome interlopers. These rots are nothing more than the shock troops for a utopian scheme to forcibly integrate America. I HATE it and I HATE the illegal invaders.

You're absolutely right. It comes down to corporate greed. And they are creating a very similar situation for us as was created hundreds of years ago by importing tens of thousands of blacks to work as slaves on the plantations. Of course, that was by force, and the Mexicans are voluntarily immigrating. But the analogy holds - the same arguments were used by the slave/plantation holders for exploiting black people as the corporatists and open borders people use today for exploiting Mexicans: we can't pay them real wages, we can't produce the goods cheaply enough, they work much harder than native labor could, etc, etc. But haven't we seen enough of what the REAL costs of slavery were? That after slavery ended we were left with a permanent, resentful, angry underclass who are only recently starting to move up and frankly there's not much for them to move INTO anymore. Why on earth would we want to duplicate this experience with Mexicans?

We must get away from a business model that exists and thrives on the exploitation of a large population of impoverished or enslaved workers. That can only end badly for everyone. With the Mexicans we have the additional problem of their having their own country right on our border. As I've said before, if enough of them immigrate here - with their sole intent to make a buck - NOT TO BECOME AMERICANS - then what is the "tipping" point when that part ceases to be part of the United States and becomes part of Mexico?

Just as an aside, we really should be asking something of those who really want to immigrate here and become Americans. It should not be based just on making a buck on either side. They should be willing to give up their past and become part of our present, and future. A country with a permanent large alien underclass cannot thrive and will have constant problems. If not now - eventually. It's is INEVITABLE. Can't we learn from history at all?

the Land of Israel, Palestine] was the birthplace of the Jewish people.

Utter bullshit ...

It is difficult to see how historians could ignore the evidence for the Khazar (Ashkenazi) migration into Poland on the grounds that more than half a millennium later they speak a different language. .Incidentally, the descendants of the biblical Tribes are the classic example of linguistic adaptability. First they spoke Hebrew; in the Babylonian exile, Chaldean; at the time of Jesus, Aramaic; in Alexandria, Greek; in Spain, Arabic, but later Ladino - a Spanish-Hebrew mixture, written in Hebrew characters, the Sephardi equivalent of Yiddish; and so it goes on. They preserved their religious identity, but changed languages at their convenience. [Now pay close attention to the next sentence please.] "The Khazars (Ashkenazi) were not descended from the Tribes, but, as we have seen, they shared a certain cosmopolitanism and other social characteristics with their co-religionists."

NOT DESCENDED FROM THE TRIBES !!! [See Genesis 10:3 Ashkenaz descended from Japeth NOT SHEM and is NOT related to Abraham ... Ashkenazi Jews "got nothin comin" period !

the same arguments were used by the slave/plantation holders for exploiting black people as the corporatists and open borders people use today for exploiting Mexicans: we can't pay them real wages, we can't produce the goods cheaply enough,

Compare the situation faced by "immigrants" in the north who were made virtual slaves and lived in company towns. And, as the song by Tennessee Ernie Ford goes, "I owe my soul to the company store."

The blacks at least had it a little better since they were property and the slave owner cared for his "investment" thereby cared for their health and well being. Not so with the Kleenex people (to be used and thrown away) who lived in company shanty towns and slaved long hours for little pay.

The Mexicans are victims (of NAFTA) just as much as any other group in similar situations.

And that attitude has been programed into them. Read the 14th Amendment and then read 42 USC 1981.

They were never equal, and never will be as long as their rights must be legislated.

It's all a set up by the radical Republicans of the mid-19th century to undermine and subvert the nation.

Just one example of a prosperous black community in Tulsa in the 1920s, but there were similar communities across the country at that time.

If you can get past the typical PC BS in the articles, you've got it licked.

Illegals are certainly a bonus to corporate America, but it’s an added bonus. Their anti-nationalist agenda is what drives the open border mob. Only in America is nationalism a dirty word. Why? IMHO it has to do with the paranoia that is left over from the rise of the Third Reich. When you hear the slogan “never again” think of it as a war chant from those who believe German nationalism gave birth to Hitler. Nationalism alone didn’t give birth to Adolph. The humiliation caused by the Treaty of Versailles was the main culprit, but that argument is for another day.

Perhaps a leisurely stroll on 125th St & followed by a rap show at the Apollo Theater will raise some alarm.

the american people have no national awareness. ANd except for the upper 1% of the income group, the american people have no class awareness. BEcause americans are unaware of thier nation and their class, the average american does not defend his nation or his class within the nation against outside threats. hence it is easy to take advantage of them. As an example, look how the lower middle class freepers are duped into to defending the top 1% in their effort to establish an aristocracy by the abolition of the estate tax.

Now you pay close attention; you are dancing around the head of a pin over the linage of Jews merely because you are anti-Semitic and I don't give a rip about your crap concerning pedigrees of anyone, nowhere man... oops, I meant no one of course.

When the message is untenable ... attack the messenger. The people on this board are too aware of the so-called Jews history to pay much heed to your emotional outbursts ...

You merely work to try to re-enforce a bull shit message that has no legs.

If you are to be believed, all Jews are evil and conspiratorial and worthy of being your whipping boy to drum up fervor as use as a wedge issue.

Live is far more complex and defuse then that. There are good Jewish people and bad Jewish people, just as their is in the rest of any small or large group of human beings.

As for an alleged "emotional outburst," be real. None of you have done anything more then mildly annoyed me time to time. I've just done this sort of posting and real time activism to get as emotional as an idealistic youth. I am a battle hardened 52 year old man, but thanks for using this ploy. It amuses the heck out of me. ;-)

In 1452, Pope Nicholas V issued to King Alfonso V of Portugal the bull Romanus Pontifex, declaring war against all non-Christians throughout the world, and specifically sanctioning and promoting the conquest, colonization, and exploitation of non- Christian nations and their territories.

In the Old Testament, war, plunder and conquest of non-Jews is sanctioned. The Vatican learned it from the Hebrew scriptures.

The genocide and conquest committed by Columbus and his men against the peaceful Native people of the Caribbean were sanctioned by the above mentioned documents of the Catholic Church.

This needs to be on this thread also:

At least five members of the expedition, including the surgeon, Marco, the ship's doctor, Bernal, and the interpreter, Louis Torres, were Jews. Torres was the first European to tread on American soil and also the first to discover the use of tobacco. He won the good-will of a Cuban chief and received from him large grants of land and many slaves as presents. Columbus' recognition of his indebtedness to the Jews is shown also by the fact that the first detailed account of his discoveries was addressed to his Jewish patron, Louis de Santangel, and a similar letter was sent to Gabriel Sanchez.

AZTLAN
Is it just me, or has anybody else noticed that these maps of "Aztlan" reach out to include the oil shale areas of Utah and Colorado which hold the largest concentration of hydrocarbon deposits in the world.

BTW: I learned the latter tidbit aout oil shale from articles on the internet. I've since have had it confirmed in a conversation with a geologist that knows what he's talking about on that subject.

(1). If you are to be believed, all Jews are evil and conspiratorial and worthy of being your whipping boy to drum up fervor as use as a wedge issue.

(2). Live is far more complex and defuse then that.

(1). No, you got me all wrong. I know that all so-called Jews aren't bad ... but there aren't enough of them on the planet to quibble over getting rid of them all.

(2). Hahahaha ... quit drinking ! [Life not live ... and than not then].

You seem to be a Jew apologist afraid to examine the long history of Jewish connivance, extortion and murder.

(1). "No, you got me all wrong. I know that all so-called Jews aren't bad ... but there aren't enough of them on the planet to quibble over getting rid of them all."

So, you are saying that there is a threshold of population size that justifies extermination of people if it is not met? We are quibbling over your mis- perceptions and stereotyping of people no different then other people merely by virtue of being human beings.

You seem enamored with the concept of justifiable genocide. I submit it is you who has the disease of bigotry, stereotyping and an unbridled sense of irrational hatred of those you scapegoat after a Machiavellian purpose.

(2). "Hahahaha ... quit drinking !" [Life not live ... and than not then].

I would if I did, because alcohol is one of the worse poisons humans like so much. I don't do anything but coffee anymore. My Mom and sister died of cancer in recent years, and at age 52 I exercise, eat right and do no poisons or dangerous substances. But thanks for sharing your concern anyway.

"You seem to be a Jew apologist afraid to examine the long history of Jewish connivance, extortion and murder."

I am aware that many professions Jewish people excel at they moved into because bigotry and hatred kept them out of other aspects of life in the countries they migrated to centuries ago. The same hatreds and irrational scapegoating hates it when a target prevails over such oppression.

You need to start realizing that all demographic blocks of humanity has their share of saints and scoundrels and stop being a hateful scoundrel that advocates bigotry, violence and murder. You are part of the problem, not the solution. It's as simple as that.

bigotry and hatred

As long as you hold this line, you'll never be anything other than an apologist for atrocities committed by people who did them with the intention of "helping Jews".

Conversing with monitors like you is good for one thing: it underscores the idea that the crimes of Jewish nutjobs must stand in equal stead with the crimes of other self-grouped psychopaths who thought that they were slaughtering people and stealing their lives for the good of their own people.

I suppose you "really" believe the entire world is made up of bigots that expelled the Jews for "no reason" ... especially after affording them protection.

(1). What I'm saying exactly is that the number of good Jews versus the magnitude of international strife caused by the Jewish population as a whole is comparable to treating terminal cancer. Both the malignant and benign cancer cells get radiated !

(2). I'm enamored with liberty and justice for all ... all of your nonsensical bullshit about hatred and scapegoats is the typical Jew response to truth regarding your parasitic people.

(3). Please make this drivel into a complete and cogent sentence without using derivitives of your two favorite words "hate" and "scapegoats" and I will respond, otherwise go back to your homeschool at the kibbutz you little communist.

(4). I started realizing the damage caused by Jews 30 years ago and decided to look further into it. The more I looked ... the more abuse of all the other people of the world I found. And like I said earlier, if removing all of the cancer cells is necessary to cure the international plague of cancerous Jews, it should be done as humanely as possible !

It's amusing to watch a Jew suck-ass try to portray the most brutal ethnicity upon the face of planet earth as saints and chosen ones ...
