Dr. Kimmy has forgiven me for going to my neighbor's funeral last Saturday with my ex-wife (She knew about it from the git and gave me permission, she was working that day, didn't know them, and had a bad day in the killing zone, then took it out on me Saturday night). She called and apologized last night.
I wanted to get Doc her normal, modest semi-weekly bouquet at Kroger, but they looked like dog shit. I came around the other side of the floral department (bargain basement) and there was a huge bouquet of red roses, some topicals and misc. stuff surrounded by palm leaf looking things. "That'd be nice." I thought.
I started walking away thinking it was going to be way too expensive for one weekend flowers, and turned around and looked at the price tag. It was marked down to only $17.56. I went to get one of those bags that you put the bouquets in and there was some bitch looking at it when I came back. I was ready to pepper spray her ass, but she had the good sense to walk away.
This is one of our rare two whole days together weekends. After I board up the house and hang a condemned sign on it, I'm gonna start getting taco stuff ready and put together a lasagna for tomorrow.
