Lydia Pense with Cold Blood would blow them both away with one vocal chord tied behind her back.

Bravo - just great.

You could see the honesty in their faces, and in their voices on this one.

I don't understand the problem - for the first half of our marriage, Mrs.L made much more jack than did I. Then, that situation reversed, but still, what's hers is hers, and what's mine is hers...it's all good, if the marriage is good. :-)

It's just money.

Please don't do this to those of us who have our settings so high that we can't view the Tube from their site, please.

Pretty, please.

Stevie Nicks - Are You Strong Enough To Be My Man

She is rather hefty these days.

I've already said too much.

I'm hoping that this is a link to a Cold Blood video on myspace. You have to realise that this gal was in her twenties in the late 60s. I remember her sliding across the stage like James Brown with long blonde hair and bell bottoms. She , at one time had the Pointer sisters as backup vocals. Rumor had it that Joplin wouln't go onstage after Cold Blood played. http://www.myspace.com/coldbloodmusic

Cold Blood was hot. I saw them opening for, I think, The Faces. Lydia Pense (I think that was her name) was amazing. I have their first album, but they didn't translate well to vinyl. It was a pretty good record, but without seeing her, it lost a lot of impact.

In her defense - menopause can be a bitch.

From what I hear...

yeah, she's nothing to look at now, but she's not lost her vocals. funny that you mentioned joplin, that's who her voice reminded me of when i heard her on You Got Me Hummin.

Come Monday..
