LOL. At least it was kind of an interesting news day. They really don't have much of a Friday night news dump anymore. Of late it's been Sunday. Same-same, savvy?
It's so over. Homan and Miller are doing what they can I guess, but it's too little to late.
It's only been six months. Time might tell.
I should be in bed, but I feel pretty good for a change. The only hard appointments tomorrow are a shit, shower, shave and Flowbee plus a meeting with Chris in the afternoon. Kroger can wait until Saturday morning if need be. It's good to be the King.
Ya know, dating a physician is a lot like dating a celebrity. Everybody wants a piece of her time probably because of her perceived wealth. She doesn't want the attention because of the "Dr." before her name. She just wants to be the roller skating hottie from the late 70s-early 80s. Most of the buddies I have left are high-line millionaires like Rainman, Scotty, Jimmy and others, but they don't have a Dr./MD or whatever suffix/prefix attached to their names. They just want to be regular guys. They're not looking for new "friends" because they know where that ends up. I don't know why I brought this up, Maybe because Chris across the street lost everything he cared about when his wife died. His house and cars are much nicer than mine, but he'll be paying for them until he dies. I paid for Angie's funeral and a lot of the final expenses, but I'm hoping he can get his shit squared away soon. (Edit) you guys get to be my councilors now. The ones with a PhD or whatever behind their name now would try to trans me into a five y/o girl or something. This is kind of my song minus the gay connotations, change Philadelphia to Ft. Wayne...
I think me and Punk (Pam) were in Wiesbaden or some US AFB near there when the Berlin Wall started coming down in '89, I think. Berlin's overrun with third worlders now, I hear.
Kimmy and me could've torn that song up in a couple's skate in '79.
