The Alpine Trench on the South Island of New Zealand is due to erupt soon enough. The Axial Seamount off the Oregon coast is expected by scientists to erupt some time this year. It is one of the most scientifically monitored undersea volcanoes in the world. It is on the western edge of the Juan De Fuca Plate which is being subducted under the North American Plate at the Cascadia subduction zone. Subduction zone earthquakes are among the strongest of the megaquakes. The Cascadia subduction zone stretches 1,000 km (620 miles) from northern Vancouver Island in Canada down the coast to Cape Mendocino, California. A regional FEMA director said, "Our operating assumption is that everything west of the I-5 highway will be toast." A megaquake in this area could produce tsunami as large as, if not larger, than the Boxing Day tsunami of 2004. Some of the notable Cascade volcanoes include Mt Rainier, Mount Baker, Mount St. Helens, and Mount Hood. There has been earthquake swarms around Mt Rainier. When it erupted in the past, it sent lahars that wiped out the areas where the state capitol is today and as far as present day Tacoma and the southside of Seattle. A lahar is a sort of flash flood of lava, melted snow and ice, mud, rocks and other debris. In Europe we have continuing activity in Iceland and earthquake swarms around Santorini island in Greece and Campi Flegrei under the 6 million people of the Naples region. In 1709 3 volcanic eruptions in Europe caused a severe winter. The top meter (nearly 40 inches) of the soil in France froze sending food prices 600% higher. The areas of interest in Asia are the Manilla Trench and the Philippine Trench which sandwich the Philippines. The Sunda Trench is formed by the subduction of the Indo-Australian Plate beneath the Eurasian Plate. It is 3,200 km (2,000 miles long) and has produced its share of megaquakes and volcanoes. The loudest noise in modern history was the Krakatoa volcano of 1883. The largest volcano in geologically recent history was Mt Tambora in 1815. It caused "1816 year without a summer." At that time there were fewer than 20 million people in the US. Today we have 320 million more people to feed. And there are 7 billion more people worldwide today than in 1820. In the month of August, the Full Moon is on August 9th and the New Moon is August 23rd which are the periods most likely in terms of lunar forces to produce major quakes. I expect a major earth change event this month, possibly as big or bigger than the Kamchatka 8.8 quake. As I explained in my previous article, we have been inundated with solar energy. The earth is being charged for major earthquakes and volcanoes. Volcanoes can kill far more people by cutting off the food supply to billions of people. I believe 2026 will definitely be a "year without a summer" which will have disastrous consequences for billions of people. Please prepare as best as you can.
