en I lived in my sisyrt's attic flatin Chicago, she had this M-1 Garand and told me there was something wrong with it, but she couldn't figure it out.

I knew these guys in the suburbs that were into guns. She didn't have a box to put the rifle in, soo I wrapped it in a blanket. I was walking out to the pick up and a cop pulled up. They asked, "What do you have in the blanket?"

Without hesitation I replied, "Curtain rods. You should know better than even ask." LOL

It turned out tu be a parts gun. They said she should go to Lake County Gun Show and find a dealer with parts and to swap him for a part that fits properly. Not sure if she ever took care of it. ;)
