I'm takin' my first whack at making Porcupines for our dinner. I haven't had those in over 50 years. I had Mom's recipe on an index card, but Marla must've moved or thrown it away, I can't find it. I hope Doc lies 'em, they're kind of labor intensive to make. That watermelon I bought the other day for $5 yielded over 8lbs. of fruit, the $2.88/lb melons at would've cost about $50 (maybe I misread the tag, that doesn't seem right). Nothing in the news except bitching/lies about Trump/Putin. T-minus 5 hours when my weekend starts. I suppose I should clean bathrooms and get myself cleaned up before my company arrives. (Edit) Anybody know if you can freeze watermelon chunks or does that just turn it into goo? I don't think we'll be eating 8lbs this weekend.
