U.S. Trucking Industry has been gutted by unregulated immigration over the past five years. These "California " drivers are part of an ecosystem that puts profit over safety..."
What American trucking company would put an illegal Mexican behind the wheel of a big rig? Maybe they were just desperate for drivers.
But it could never be as desperate as hiring a guy with an outstanding felony warrant on him. That happened when the truck was going thru a scale house in South Dakota. A dog keyed on the truck and they stopped him. They climbed all over those boxes of flowers in the trailer. When they ran his license they found out he had a warrant in Texas and had him extradited. It must have been a felony since that would not happen over a misdemeanor.
He probably had to have the Public Pretender. it wouldn't surprise me if they gave him time. I hope he had soap on a rope. ;)
