Dallas police say 43-year-old Yordanis Cobos-Martinez has been charged with capital m*rder after a brutal machete attack at an East Dallas motel that left coworker Chandra “Bob” Nagamallaiah, 50, d*ad.
According to arrest records and witness statements, Cobos-Martinez allegedly retrieved a machete during an argument at a motel on Samuell Boulevard, then chased and fatally wounded Nagamallaiah. Investigators reported the victim suffered catastrophic injuries at the scene.

In 2017 the killer attempted to carjack a woman while he was naked. He did not go to trial until 2023. He was convicted but was released on probation. He violated parole and had a fugitive warrant out for him.
