I was shamed into broadband this week after being on dial up. I had to update just about everything. I'm on Comcast, I had some trouble with an internet filter on my cable, then the cable was split too many times. A tech came out and got me working. All the video and such that everyone has been posting, I could never view. Google, youtube, etc..Anyway, this is amazing, the speed and the things available. Just a thanks to Christine.

You'll be able to watch everything. Any thing you want to download will only take a few seconds as opposed to the hours it sometime took just to update something. You'll also be able to run several programs at a time. For instance, I run the defragger or a spyware scan while surfing. It barely slows down your connection speed. Plus, the connection is always on, no annoying dialing, drop-offs or disconnects.

It also saves a lot of time. I don't have to spend near the time on the net that I used to because everyting is so much faster.

I got BB about a year ago and I couldn't believe the difference.

The cable co. complete rewired everything in the house. All new cable and splitters etc.

You'll never regret it.

Ditto ... I pay $46.44 per month for wireless and though I think it's a little expensive I use my computer and the net a lot.

If ye love wealth greater than liberty, the tranquility of servitude greater than the animating contest for freedom, go home from us in peace. We seek not your counsel, nor your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds (smites) you; and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.

I just measured my download speed.

2395 kilobits. I've measured it as high as 4000. It depends how many are online.

Much better than the 33k I used to have.

Excellent! Cancel your land telephone line and use SKYPE for free to any phone and you've paid for your cable easily.

Law Enforcement Against Prohibition

"Freedom and human rights in America are doomed. The U.S. government will lead the American people in ...into an unbearable hell and a choking life."
-OBL
"Prohibition...goes beyond the bounds of reason in that it attempts to control a man's appetite by legislation and makes a crime out of things that are not crimes. A prohibition law strikes at the very principles upon which our govt was founded."
