TULSA, Okla. - He delivered his people from bondage and through 40 years in the wilderness. Now Moses has become a key part of a five-game baseball homestand.

The Tulsa Drillers planned to hand out 1,500 Moses bobbleheads on Friday night. The bobblehead, complete with tablets representing the Ten Commandments, was part of a faith and family night sponsored by Oklahoma Wesleyan University and a Christian radio station.

"The bobblehead craze is still out there," said Brian Carroll, spokesman for the Double-A ballclub. "We'll probably draw two kinds of people for the game, the Moses fans and the bobblehead collectors."

The biblical bobblehead is a first for the Drillers, Carroll said.

"The faith and family night is really a growing phenomena in minor-league baseball," Carroll said. "If you look at the people in the stands, you will see a lot of families. We think this will be well-received."

The game at Drillers Stadium features the Drillers, who won the Texas League North Division first-half title, against the Springfield Cardinals. The Drillers, 6-8 in the second half, have dropped two straight to the Cardinals (4-10).

After the game, area youth groups will stay for the 5th Annual Youth Group Lock-In. Post-game activities include a movie on the stadium "big screen," games on the field and other faith-building activities throughout the night.
