The reason ClownPosse got the axe last night acan in all probability be traced to their new investagator, screen name Columbo who replaced Mojo/Dung Beetle after his banning at the ClownPosse site. For months Columbo has been investegating an organization tied to the Freeper Canteen threads of FreeRepublic called Proud Patriots. Proud Patriots on paper is basically a charity designed to privately support the troops in Afgahanistan and Iraq however Columbo was looking into itas basically just another FreeRepublic money grifting scheme for FreeRepublic and therefore Jim Robinson. This theory came to encompass three 'bot discussion boards as it developed, those were ClownPosse, LibertyPost, and Conservative Underground. One ClownPosse poster in fact published a rather long litany of the laws that Proud Patriots was violating in the State of Virginia (Which caused the "charity's" recent move to the State of Arizona) which ClownPosse discribed as a GOBSMACK in a Columbo posted thread there. The last event concerning this was on the day before ClownPosse was shut down. Recently ClownPosse started a policy of allowing FReeper trolls to register and post there so that they could play with them in person and on the day before ClownPosse was shut down one of these trolls came to ClownPosse spacifically to defend both JimRobinson and Proud Patriots. The way the Posse members played with him was to direct him to their threads posted by Cloumbo and others about Proud Patriots. This troll continued at ClownPosse pretty much throughout the night and the site was shut down in the morning. therefore I believe: 1. There is cercumstantial evidence that ClownPosse was shut down because they were getting too close to the truth about Proud Patriots. 2. The Freeper troll was probably also the one who lodged the complaint that led to the shutdown.

Even though they've maligned me on more than one occasion, I have to say, I'd have to support their efforts to get Free Republic taken down, and the proprietors of that site tossed in the clink. Free Republic has been, and will always be a tool of the GOP, and be a source of the most vile corruption imaginable. If a non-aligned website were to do the things that JimRob and company have done according to what CP has exposed, it would be investigated and chances are the owners tossed into prison for the illegal activities for the littles offenses. Even though I've hated most of the people at CP, I have to say that I applaud them for their efforts to put Frei Republik down like the sick animal it has become.
