After a brief discussion about creating a site concerning living life unlicensed, I registered the domain name and installed a blog script. I shopped around for a catchy template, but nothing seemed to work as well as one of the stock templates, so I'm going to stick with it.

Anyone who has any tried and true info about living life unlicensed, or living without an SS number is welcome to post what they know. Everyone who registers is immediately set up as a contributor and thos who wish to have Author status can email their request to me at admin@unlicense.org.

The idea is to make the site a clearinghouse for information regarding how to live license free and stay out of jail doing it. :)

Visit Unlicense.Org and help get it started! It is not a discussion forum, so it should not compete with this 4um in any way.

I hope it is well received.

As for WWIII, let's try something new. All I'm saying is give isolationism a chance.~~Pissed Off Janitor

The best thing would be if you could get a side-bar listing.

Otherwise, you could suck in obscurity forever, and ever, amen.

Good luck with it.

I'm registered and ready to go.

Thanks, Critter. The next step is to get started.

The best way to get rid of a license or other registration is to remove the application. There is only one way to do it and it is not called recission. That requires approval of both parties. It is called termination of the contract which can be done easily if you have the proper way to do it by affidavit. We have been using a tried and true method.

Long story from here and I need to catch some ZZZZ's.

I'm sure I can get others from all around the country to visit the site and maybe even stop by here at 4um. I will blurb it on the conference call Thursday since I missed the one tonight.

My pleasure!

I don't know anything about getting out of the system, so it's up to the people who do, to put the site to good use. I'll keep it up and running as long as people use it.

I'm pretty good at driving traffic to sites too so...

Tis a good deal critter!!! Sorry it took so long for me to respond, but I have been pretty tied up the last couple of days, and haven't been on the net at all. I just registered.

I will say one thing, once you get out of the system, and realize that you are no longer contributing to the funds paying for the weapons that are killing innocent men, women and children - you will find yourself in a contentment unlike any you've ever had before.

It's getting late, and I know I have a few more busy days ahead, but I'll start putting in what I can as soon as I can.

I should add though that I don't have much in the way of a paperwork tricks and things to live unlicensed.

My general school of thought is that filling out government forms is something you don't do, or if you do, then you're in the game. You're either one one side of the road or the other, never half way. Some here are good at digging through court rules, challenging jurisdiction and generally making life miserable for the judges and prosecuters, but that's not been my forte. At least so far it hasn't. I generally take the pragmatic approach for perhaps more pragmatic results. (Did I mention I'm in Ecuador?)

What credit is due me might be because of my past letter writing and having the guts to brazenly stroll into the enemy camp in public view. That was back when I believed people in government could be compelled to respect the Constitution, but I've lost faith in that department (no pun intended).

Some here swear by such things as invoking the UCC, zero returns, or otherwise filling out government documents in ways the government ain't used to. I generally don't subscribe to those things, but then again, I've not studied many of those things.

If I get a lame speeding ticket in the future, I may well go in with gun's ablazing (so to speak) and make the judge prove his oath and all that, since there's so little to lose if you mess up. Right now I do have a driver license and I'm "in the game" since MD allows that without an SSN. Not much about me right now that I can boast about, except that I'm in Ecuador where none of the taxes I pay are being use to destroy other countries.

Anyways... I'm not sure I have much to offer beyond that.
