That sucks. Their smartest posters get so disgusted they abandon ship over the multitude of retards LP has recently been overrun by. But I can't blame him, or the other guy that left on this thread also, Phant2000(#29). Take a look at the photo in post #15 and read the continuing statements of some of these nice, decent folks(notice nobody responds to it directly).

LP has become like a political and moral Twilight Zone or something since the Gaza shellings broke out.

I predicted when Israel began pulling out of Gaza that they were setting up a gambit for the Palestinians hoping they'd bite, and then Israel would have an excuse to slash and burn in the name of defense and appear innocent in the eyes of many.

It happened.

I hear you. In the broader sense we all thought Israel would be directly involved in this mess at some stage. We said so and were called the usual names for our perception. Well here it is, Mother Israel in all her glory. I find nothing noble about that nation, or US, or Britain for that matter.

I said it also. Theinternal upheaval and Bibi resigning his postion in the Cabinet was all a ruse. I said back then that the old policies woudl be brought back out after the dust settled, revitalized, and a new push would be on to eliminate the Palis.

I also called it right on the head that the assassination of Hariri, then blamed on Syria to force them to withdraw from Lebanon, was the opening to launch another invasion at a later date.
