That sucks. Their smartest posters get so disgusted they abandon ship over the multitude of retards LP has recently been overrun by. But I can't blame him, or the other guy that left on this thread also, Phant2000(#29). Take a look at the photo in post #15 and read the continuing statements of some of these nice, decent folks(notice nobody responds to it directly).

LP has become like a political and moral Twilight Zone or something since the Gaza shellings broke out.

She had advance knowledge that we'd invade Iraq. She told me some 6 months before that it WAS going to happen, even before congress gave that lame "authorization to use force" that supposedly passed for a war declaration, which it didn't.

She's very underhanded, but it seems she's quit supporting Bush, at least, having signed up with the illegal immigration people. Seems she's no longer a flagwaver for the Iraq invasion but hasn't apologized for supporting it as far as I know.

Are you sure you can rule out highly misguided good intentions? A lot of self proclaimed "conservatives" are stuck in that rubber stamp simpleton version of christianity where they trust anyone else who merely says they're christion, like Bush, while ignoring what they do.
