That sucks. Their smartest posters get so disgusted they abandon ship over the multitude of retards LP has recently been overrun by. But I can't blame him, or the other guy that left on this thread also, Phant2000(#29). Take a look at the photo in post #15 and read the continuing statements of some of these nice, decent folks(notice nobody responds to it directly).

LP has become like a political and moral Twilight Zone or something since the Gaza shellings broke out.

Does anyone know a site where I could learn web "protocol" or whatever you call it so I can figure out how to do things like make my tag line in color, or highlight parts of commentary in bold letters, or post pictures and video without having to post links to get to them? A lot of you guys seem to know how to do those things.

The "Genocide Thread" is STILL going on over there at LP(550 posts) -- seems one guy's fighting the vultures by himself, and then one of the other posters said:

My thanks to Phant for pointing the way here! It seems after reviewing this thread that many posters here, are well aware of the rampant lunacy at LP. It seems to have really spun into foaming madness in the last week. I am hoping to see a few more to tell the owned (oops owner) to sod off.

Defending democracy and civility. Stabbing at the throws of forum fascism as it takes hold. I have reviewed the thread as it grows, and it makes me feel as angry as those who danced in the street on 9/11. The sight of bloody children dismissed as nothing more midnight roadkill, and frankly as celebrated as a free appetizer at the Olive Garden. The High-5'ing and giddy voices.. unbelievable... yet of course, they demand we send our countrymen to the slaughter for their own survival. Nauseating and disgusting. Vile and evil. I could say so much more, but I wanted to thank you and Phant for standing tall to the rabid misfits agents of death. To disagree with them now, you are called a terrorist lover. Unconditional support or it's off to the firing squad. Freaks.

From knowing them on TOS, I can tell you Phant and Jesse have brains, strong minded, think on their feet and they scare me sometimes. Few on TOS ever wanted to joust with them.

I found myself trying to explain to a foreign visa worker what America was like only 30 years ago. It took some time, and I'm sure he didn't understand, but I had to try for some reason. Then, as I drove home, I just wanted to cry.

Yes it launched into high gear then... but it had been building. I had to pull back from posting alternative opinions from non-zio of Jewish faith.. but figured, it would be lost in all the noise and diaper filling.

I'm trying to figure what percentage are paid lobby there. Early on, I guessed 5 percent.. I'd be willing to put 2 bucks on the barrelhead it's more like 90% now.

We have been made outcasts in our own country. It's not the first time it's happened, and God willing, it will be reclaimed someday.. but it will be a long while.

But I do greive for the old familiar comforts. The movies and media try to force to accept that the America we grew up in was just a fascade. What IS a fascade, is a TexasHoldem Whitehouse where the termites are winning every hand, and have spread out to take all of DC. Those bits of paper on the floor...
