The last time I came close was when I saw some dude getting ready to smack his girlfriend around in a back alley out in Sturgis last summer. I told him that I don't normally get involved in other folks' business but if he hits her, he's gonna have to hit me too. He got the message and she slipped away unhurt. Interesting, one black woman is yelling that the man they've grabbed is mentally retarded. Then the white woman with the camera is assaulted and rammed by the bicycle cop. An hispanic woman exclaims, "That's brutality!". Another hispanic woman tries to protect the white woman with the camera, possibly, although that isn't clear, and she is eventually allowed to leave, but not the white woman with the camera. The # of cops and the use of the sticks and bike are very disturbing. Like our troops, our "officers of the peace" must really hate cameras. Whoever took this video, and there were 2 angles, must have hidden their cameras pretty good.

Depends on either (a) her own courtroom savvy and ability to pursue it herself - doubtful; or (b) her ability to find a COMPETENT lawyer to persue the matter - doubtful.

You are right, Critter. That beating was totally uncalled for. If she had come at them with a weapon or with the intent of harming someone, it would have been different. But, she did not look like she was in any way violent. Those who liked the video should be ashamed of themselves.
