Over the past two decades, as the Christian Right has grown in political power in the United States, there has been parallel growth in support for Israel. A number of organizations made up of conservative evangelical and Jewish leaders have been founded, and millions of dollars have been raised and donated to charities in Israel.

Now, a new group plans to take it up a notch, becoming a significant presence in any political policy debates involving Israel.

In mid-July, while the Israeli-Hezbollah conflict continued to escalate, Christians United for Israel (CUFI) -- an organization founded less than six months ago by Texas evangelist Rev. John C. Hagee, pastor of the 18,000-member Cornerstone Church in San Antonio, Texas, and the author of "Jerusalem Countdown," a 2006 book about a nuclear-armed Iran -- rolled into Washington, D.C., for its first major get-together.

More than 3,400 delegates from across the country attended the inaugural meeting.

CUFI kicked off the gathering on July 19 with its "A Night to Honor Israel" banquet at the grand ballroom in the Washington Hilton. The festivities attracted a number of high-profile Israeli and U.S. political leaders, including Israeli Ambassador Daniel Ayalon, retired Israeli defense chief Lt. Gen. Moshe Yaalon, and Republican National Committee Chairman Ken Mehlman.

According to a report posted at Israpundit, Hagee read greetings from President George W. Bush and Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert. While Bush urged "God [to] bless and stand by the people of Israel and . . . bless the United States," Olmert's letter referred to CUFI's "'bold stand at this crisis time,' and the group's acknowledgment of Israel's biblical 'birthright.'"

The following day, at a well-attended press conference, Hagee said that "The dots are there to be connected, and it is not some big thing called terrorism. It is Islamic fascism . . . all of the various things and forces that we've seen around the world are not merely hot spots but they are all part of a theme -- a war against Western civilization."

The news conference was followed by a trip to Capitol Hill to lobby congressional representatives.

While other organizations have mostly talked the talk, Hagee's CUFI has set out a bold agenda and it appears to have the resources and political connections to walk the walk:

CUFI aims to not only establish a visible presence in hundreds of cities throughout all 50 states, but it also intends to recruit activists to lobby on behalf of Israel.

In addition, CUFI plans to set up an "Israel Rapid Response" network, which, through e-mail, faxes, and phone calls, will make its voice heard by elected officials.

To move CUFI's agenda from the planning stage to direct action, Hagee brought David Brog -- a Washington insider -- on board as the organization's executive director. The hiring of Brog, who is Jewish, the former chief of staff for Pennsylvania Republican Sen. Arlen Specter and the author of the recently published book "Standing With Israel: Why Christians Support the Jewish State," was a shrewd and politically savvy move.

In a recent interview, Brog noted that he had "admired" Hagee "from afar," and he explained why, as a Conservative Jew, he would work for a Christian organization: "I believe this is the most important thing I could do not only for Israel but for Judeo-Christian civilization today, which is under threat from radical Islam."

In the preface to his book, Brog establishes his religious bona fides by maintaining that he is "not a Messianic Jew or a Jew for Jesus" and that he doesn't "believe that the Messiah has ever appeared on Earth." He writes that he "embrace[s]" his "Jewish faith and seek[s] knowledge of my Creator through the paths and texts provided to me by my Jewish ancestors." He also points out that while he doesn't "observe all of the Halacha [Jewish law], [he does] recognize the Halacha as a central component of my religion."

While many in the Jewish community have certainly appreciated the support evangelical Christians have given Israel, there are many that still have deep reservations about the Christian evangelicals' mission to convert Jews to Christianity, and their adherence to End-Times beliefs that essentially leave Jews behind.

In a press release issued by the Institute for Public Accuracy, the Rev. Dr. Donald Wagner, a professor at North Park University in Chicago and a founding member of the Institute for the Study of Christian Zionism, pointed out that Christian Zionists see "the modern state of the country-region Israel as the fulfillment of Biblical prophecy and thus deserving of political, financial, and religious support."

Referring to the current Israeli-Hezbollah conflict, Wagner added, "Many of the Christian Zionists may interpret this as a prelude to the battle of Armageddon and the final end-times scenario."

In a late-May interview with the American Thinker's Ed Lasky, Brog stated that "Christians who support Israel do not expect any kind of quid pro quo from the Jewish community. . . . Evangelical support for Israel is a genuine expression of Christian love for the Jews and respect for God's promises to them, and it comes with no strings attached."

He then added: "That being said, it is important to note that Christians are human beings with normal human emotions. When they spend a great deal of time supporting Israel and fighting anti-Semitism, they are disappointed when these efforts are ignored by the Jewish community, and when the only time they hear from representatives of the Jewish community is to attack them because of their positions on social issues.

"This cold reception doesn't sway evangelicals from their course of support for Israel. But it does cause a certain disappointment, a certain feeling of rejection, that I think is unfortunate. We in the Jewish community should try to express greater appreciation for what our Christian friends are doing on our behalf."

In the preface to his book, written before he assumed the position of CUFI executive director, Brog gives Christian Zionists his unequivocal stamp of approval, stating that through his extensive research he "became convinced that the evangelical Christians who support Israel today are nothing less than the theological heirs of the righteous Gentiles who sought to save Jews from the Holocaust."

However, in the American Thinker interview, Brog fervently rushes to the defense of the Rev. Jerry Falwell and the Rev. Pat Robertson -- two exceedingly self-righteous Gentiles. In a bit of linguistic jujitsu, Brog admits that the two media-genic televangelists have "over the years, made a few comments which have been perceived as insensitive to Jews," but, Brog argues, those comments were either "wrongly attributed to them," "taken out of context" or they "apologized" for them. Brog also claimed that both "were devoted friends of Israel that were misunderstood by the Jewish community."

They "have devoted their lives to helping Israel and the Jewish people. Time after time they have thrown their significant political support behind Israel." And, "even more importantly, Falwell and Robertson each runs a major Christian university (Liberty University and Regent University, respectively), and each teaches the next generation of Christian leaders passing through their schools to support Israel."

These 2 groups deserve each other - what a bunch of fraud-hypocrites - the Jewish Zionists loathing the fundie Christians for their patently ignorant Rapture beliefs as well their "Protestant" connection to ze krauts. On the other side, the fundie Christians silently sneering at the Zionists, who have yet to recognize Jesus Christ as their saviour, and all the while silently cheering for the destruction of Israel so they can zip right up to Heaven...

Send the whole works to Gitmo so the rest of us can lead our lives in peace.

While Bush urged "God [to] bless and stand by the people of Israel and . . . bless the United States," Olmert's letter referred to CUFI's "'bold stand at this crisis time,' and the group's acknowledgment of Israel's biblical 'birthright.'"

Caveat: In this post I am trying to explain an incident that happened yesterday, and though it may seem to be rambling, it is important that people with an interest in the truth of scriptures as it relates to the middle-east debacle read it all. Until you understand who the parties are you haven't got a chance of understanding the over-all picture.

...............................................................................

I drive a tractor for 10 hours a day and observe the propaganda spewed by the Israeli-Fascists repetitively, all day every day, beginning with the gambling addict Bill Bennett at 7:00 AM, followed by the drunk, Glenn Beck, followed by the drug addict Rush Limbaugh, followed by Michael Medved(ev) (Jew) and Scam Hannity (switching back and forth on the radio dial), then concluding with Michael (AKA Wiener the Red diaper doper baby / Jew) Savage.

The talking points are generally the same on each of these programs. Yesterday I noticed that they all kept harping on the fact that the Islamists "strap bombs on their own kids" ... after thinking about this for a moment I determined that at least the Islamists aren't strapping anything on our kids. I mean, what's the fucking difference between strapping a bomb onto someone then sending them off to die and strapping an M-16 onto someone or a tank for that matter and sending them off to die ?

What I'm trying to say is that at least the Arabs are fighting their own battles with their own people while the Jews have conscripted our children to fight their wars for them. [I'm really sick of the Jews, but I digress].

I got off my tractor early yesterday so as to call into the Michael Savage program because he had started his show by playing a clip of John Hagee discussing a nuclear escalation in the middle-east. Savage made a couple of comments about Israel being cursed if they gave back the land promised to them by God, that war had been waged upon the Israelis since the day after the State of Israel was established by the UN, and that Israel was the only democratic society in the middle-east. [God never promised these scumbags an inch, the godless, pagan, earth worshipping UN did it].

I called in and thought I'd made it past the screener. He said, "your question is reasonable" after I had expressed a desire to get Savage's take on the "establishment" of "The State of Israel".

My intent was to ask Savage two questions at the same time. The first was what did he think was democratic about the UN Mandate to establish the State of Israel, (did Palestinians vote on the invasion of Russian Jews) and the second question was to be whether he knew the etymological origin of the term "Ashkenazim" Jew.

While I was on "hold" Savage brought John Hagee onto his program. They immediately began talking about the Gog/Magog war "against" Israel that is expressed in Ezekiel 38. This Scripture names the enemies of TRUE ISRAEL, an the attack upon TRUE ISRAEL. [Please pay close attention if you have gotten this far, and I apologize for any rambling].

Hagee starts explaining the enemies of Israel to Savage, that Gomer is Germany, and Persia is Iran, Gog and Magog are Russia, and the others like Libya, Ethiopia and Togarmah are all going join forces to attack Israel.

(So far so good, all true).

NOW FOR an AMAZING (and left missing) PIECE OF THE PUZZLE ... Genesis 10:3 where the lineage or heritage of these enemies are named originally, is identical to the list of ISRAEL's attackers and contains the etymological origin of the term that desribes 90% of todays (Ashkenazi) JEWS ... Ashkenaz, the son of GOMER and enemy of ISRAEL. Michael Wiener Savage is an Ashkenazi Jew and THE ENEMY OF TRUE ISRAEL, AS IS THE TOADY JOHN HAGEE, AND HIS ILK.

Just in case my babbling has confused the issue for anyone let me state it in perfectly plain english. The enemies of Israel are the people we have been taught to think are Israel, THE JEWS. Until Christians begin to understand who's who they'll never know What's What !

I'd always wondered why it would be important for me to read the lineages described in Genesis, so and so "knew" so and so ... and begat so and so ... ad nauseum. Well, it was God warning his children who their enemy on this planet is.

The scriptures being discussed by Savage and Hagee describe the attack. The scripture says the attack will be upon a land of "unwalled" villages, that is "at rest" and "dwelling safely" ... does this sound like modern day Israel to you ? (Not to me). The scripture further describes this land as having been brought back from the sword and having "cattle in its midst" and is to be taken as a spoil. [Ezekiel 38 and 39 pertains to the U.S. NOT THE FAKE STATE OF ISRAEL.

Yesterday I noticed that they all kept harping on the fact that the Islamists "strap bombs on their own kids" ...

I noticed this too.

They also pushed the similar talking point that Islamic kids of all stripes are taught to hate Americans and Jews from birth. They detailed the school system and used some quotes from a mom and some kids who had the father killed in the fighting. They didn't take it the next step and claim that the US and Isreal were innocent and that the hate directed against them was completely irrational, but they may have just been leaving it for the goobers to draw the inference.

I was surprised at how hard and consistently they were hammering home this talking point. I wondered what they were up to.

They have also been pushing the point that Israel will soon be forced to kill a large number of innocent civilians in order to "win" the war. They have been using false WWI analogies to spin the upcoming act as being necessary and "not so bad" when viewed in the context of their false history.

Hagee read greetings from President George W. Bush and Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert. While Bush urged "God [to] bless and stand by the people of Israel and . . . bless the United States,"

And their "god" is doing just that...

If you say the word "god" most people think that means "the Creator". This isn't necessarily so. The truth is there are many many "gods". The Creator TOLD us that this is a fact when he gave us the first "commandment" in Exodus 20:3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

If other gods didn't exist, then why would the Creator have a need to command us to not follow them?

How many other gods are there? Who knows. Too many to count, that's for sure. A god can even be something we can actually touch - like money. There's sure a bunch of folks that have made money their god - materialistic folks that can't get enough money, they have to "keep up with the Joneses". And that god can and will reward those that worship it - as evidenced by all those that actually can "keep up with the Joneses".

In Bush's case his god is Moloch, hence his (and his pop's) attendance of the festivities at Bohemian Grove. And Bush has the right to believe in whatever god he wants and ask things of that god. But I denounce that he's asking anybody anything on my part. His god is NOT the one I love and join with - the Creator. But like I said, Bush's god is answering his prayers. Look around.

Hagee said that "The dots are there to be connected, and it is not some big thing called terrorism. It is Islamic fascism . . .

Pure fucking rhetoric.. Asshole doesn't even know the DEFINITION of the word fascism... According to my Websters dictionary

Fascism - A system of government characterized by rigid one-party dictatorship, forcible suppression of the opposition (unions, other, especially leftist, parties, minority groups, etc) the retention of private ownership of the means of production under centralized governmental control, beligerent nationalism and racism, and glorification of war.

Is Islam a system of government? NO. It's a religious belief. I'd say the US is fascist (or getting VERY close to it) as defined by Websters.

More proof: The word fascism is taken from fasces which is (defined by Websters) In ancient Rome, an axe tied up with a bundle of rods, borne before the chief Roman magistrates as a symbol of their authority.
Fasces

Lincoln with 2 Fasces

US House of Representatives

Second view of House of R

Reverse of our dime

The fact is - since it's inception, the US has been a work in progress to rebuild the Ancient Roman Empire!!!! The signs are everywhere... Notice the Roman headdress on the Statue of Freedom which sits atop the capitol:
Statue of Freedom on Capitol

Back to Websters.

CapitAl: (notice spelling) A city or town that is the official seat of government of a state, nation, etc.

Now, CapitOl (again spelling) (1) The temple of Jupiter in Rome, and a fort or castle on the Capitoline Hill, in which the senate of Rome anciently assembled. (2) The hill itself. (3) The edifice occupied by the Congress of the United States.

And we get diverted by such stupidity as Republican/Democrat.. Left/right... We whore after other gods - like the US Govt by participating in their programs such as Social Security; Federal Reserve Notes - so we can get our nails manicured and feed our materialistic desires at the mall; corporations - gotta have that new car, or go to the doctor so he can prescribe me some Nexxus to get rid of this heartburn (like I said, a god can be many things).

Yep, Bush's prayers are being answered alright, and he's praying for MOST (but not ALL) of us... Do a self-examination. Chances are you're joining in his prayers.

"We must use terror, assassination, intimidation, land confiscation, and the cutting of all social services to rid the Galilee of its Arab population." --- David Ben-Gurion, from Ben-Gurion, a Biography, by Michael Ben-Zohar (May 1948)
