A plot to blow up planes in flight from the UK to the US and commit "mass murder on an unimaginable scale" has been disrupted, Scotland Yard has said. It is thought the plan was to detonate explosive devices smuggled in hand luggage on to as many as 10 aircraft.

Poster Comment:

The "plot" was that they would carry liquids aboard, mix them in flight, then detonate them.

Joe Lieberman, where are you when we need you???

Doesn't sound like much of a plot, if you ask me.

They all went back to their gov't jobs. FBI, CIA, DHS, TSA, etc.

Nothing's gone down as of late in the 'West' and as to keep the hate agenda on the back burner warm, a little psy-op has to take place. Plus we don't know what the PTB have line up in the near future so as to point the finger at Muslims. Thing is , what would carrying out such an attack achieve anyway? How would it benefit anybody's cause? What would the perp hope to achieve? Would it make western governments and their policies change? No. The people there to cower in fear? No. The people to be angry against Muslims? Yes.(and to believe via the TV that they're bloodthirsty, unreasoning maniacs, hellbent on murdering people and themselves) To make future attacks on Iran/Syria easier on the senses and slide into place? Yes. To subtley tune into 911 via the aeroplane conection? Yes. (great timing there again with those recent movies BTW!)

George Orwell spelled it all out in 1984, simple as that. (Not forgetting of course that this diverts (most) people's and the media's attention away from the murder going down in Lebanon.)

You said it. This stinks to high heaven.

The present moment would be probably the worst time a shahid could pick to drop a 777 into the drink. Sure. Take down an airliner. Rouse all Sheepdom. Foment an orgy of anti-Muslim vengeance. It'd be staggeringly stupid.

How do I get off this ride??

umm, having just seen the film V for Vendetta i have serious doubts about how true this alert really is and even if it was real i'm deeply suspicious about how it is used as propaganda :(

even BBC Radio 4 News (who are given quite abit of respect for not following government lines) openly asked an MP to comment on why people no longer believe the officials - specially after the "accidental" killing on the underground and the bungled raid when a man was shot but nothing terrorist was found (they are prosecuting him for paedophilic pornography they "found" on his computer).

the sad thing for me is that if the people lose confidence in their government and its officials' sincerity, this can only end in tears - another "incident" (real or orchestrated) where innocent civilians are killed and injured.

we are truly in the hands of thieves and fools :(

And, BTW, Congratulations to you and hubby on the birth of your son!

I heard he weighs sumthin like 8 kilos!

Wow, that's a big boy! ;)

I'm very happy for you all!

And, the post-Caesarean incision will look fine before you know it.

Once it heals then if you open vitamin E gel caps and rub the stuff on it, the incision will all but disappear over time. In fact, the external scar can be "disappeared" before the internal scar tissue is completely healed.

(You'll get ghost pains there for possibly two years, so don't let unexpected pains alarm you. It's only scar tissue talking to you.)

And, besides, we experienced daddies like to kiss those mommy scars!

After all, if it wasn't for mommies how could we daddies reproduce?

First, congrats to ruthie on that precious baby.

Secondly, HOUNDDAWG, I'm sure glad you told us your experiences from a daddy's perspective cause it sounded good enough to be from a mommy's perspective!

Aloe Vera is great for scars, too. My daughter, when in college, had a really bad burn on the inside of her wrist from a restaurant accident. Very raw, ugly. Doctors didn't want anything on it.......but she used Aloe Vera, and you can't see the dang thing.

thank you both for your kind words :)

i'm using the Aloe and its very soothing. even if the scar is still visible, i've got nothing to be ashamed of because it was made for a very good reason :)
