check lodwick's warning before reading

"If there’s another 9/11 or a major war in the Middle-East involving a U.S. attack on Iran, I have no doubt that there will be, the day after or within days an equivalent of a Reichstag fire decree that will involve massive detentions in this country."

I just noticed that contractions, such as Don't, are not features of Keywords.

Dang it.

Maybe Neil would like to know, or has a work-around.

Popular Mechanics began researching the facts behind 9/11 conspiracy theories in late 2004 and published a cover story on the topic in March 2005.

How convenient that Popular Mechanics once again neglects to mention that the author of that propaganda piece being passed off as "research" was none other than the Ben Chertoff, cousin of the DHS director. A conflict of interest never acknowledged by the government-owned editorial staff. Then Benny lied and said he did not know if he was related to Michael Chertoff after he was called on it.

I wrote off popular science when they started giving money to the gun-grabbing brady bunch, and I'll be damned if another issue of popular mechanics ever takes up space in my house.

I don't see any attributions on the PM site other than "The Editors". Well, just who the hell is that? Am I, therefore, one of the Readers? I'd like to know who's peddling this crap (aside from Ben Chertoff). Are they hiding their names?

Have fun with it.

Yeah, PM is a proven CIA propaganda outlet run by Zionists.

I busted a poster on another site trying to pass this crap off as factual information - and not providing a link to the source. I thought it looked familiar so I searched a phrase and up popped the PM article. After I called the idiot on it, three or four more posters jumped on it and the disinfo agent disappeared never to be heard from again. ;0)

I've left more than a couple of bots chasing their own asses when they've tried to mention this tripe as "discrediting the kooks" when the author proved himself to be a liar, and a bad one at that.

I know you have. Weren't there a few bots over on El Pee who took the brunt of it a time or two? I seem to recall that happening over there.

The forward is by John McCain:

Blaming some conspiracy within our government for the horrific attacks of September 11 mars the memories of all those lost on that day. There were errors and missteps in our government's response, to be sure, but the performance of our public servants was on the whole heroic, not destructive. For their service--for their lives--we are indebted, and we are obliged to pay our debts to those who sacrificed. To blame not a gang of terrorists but some conspiracy for September 11 insults the police officers and firefighters who raced into the burning towers; the men and women who left for dangerous, distant lands to fight our enemies; and those who have fought in all the wars of our history.

Of course 911 WAS the result of a conspiracy, and it WAS done by terrorists, and everyone agrees on that. The question is the identities and nationalities of those conspirators/terrorists. 911 is proof that some group of people somewhere have gross disregard for human life. Why and how is it an insult to those who died to question who it was?

I'm not decided on that myself as I've not studied up on the matter. But WTC 7 is very suspicious to me and should be to anyone. I wonder if PM addresses that.

McChurian never brings forth any proof, only assertions.

It's a joke what they're trying to sell to the sheep.

A reviewer, August 10, 2006, This is the blue pill... If you want to keep sleeping and ignore the truth, read this book, watch your MTV, buy your $5 gas, and give up your civil liberties. If you choose to take the red pill, you'll wake up and realize that this world is truly messed up and in trouble. Disbelieve all you want. Listen to all the right-wing 'experts'. Watch all of the talking-heads on Fox and all the other networks. I only ask that if you read this propaganda, please at least look at some contradictory material and decide for yourselves what to believe. Loose Change may not be the best documentary to make an argument about the truth for 9/11, but at least it tries to make a convincing one. Do your own searching America... don't let the government be the only ones to tell you what to believe. Also recommended: David Ray Griffin - The 9/11 Commission, Omissions and Distortions

i love the way this reviewer used the blue pill/red pill simile.

Aug 09, 2006 Listen Now.. 911 Flights of Fancy Dr. David Ray Griffin from a speech delivered on October 12, 2005 in Montpelier, Vermont - Flights of Fancy: Flights 11, 175, 77 and 93 - in which he examines each flight in depth, to determine whether or not the official explanation of the failure to intercept, as claimed in the 911 Commission Report, is credible. In each case, Griffin provides multiple examples to demonstrate that the official explanation is not credible. This presentation is is a detailed summary of the second half of his acclaimed book, "The 911 Commission Report: Omissions and Distortions", a critique of the Kean-Zelikow Report.

Take a listen to this, and there are plenty other interviews to listen to. This interview destroys the NORAD/Vanity Fair limited hangout. Also on the 1st page is Dr Jones and Kevin Ryan.
