Looks like LP had a bit too much exposure and truth on it for the elite, who apparently are now calling the shots in a ploy to destroy it.

Sadly, it truly is. It may still exist as a site on the net, but the LP that once was no longer does. It is now nothing more than a hate-filled cauldron of brain damaged bots, with the exception of a few that still try to turn the tide back to where things once were.
It had become second nature in dealing with many of the bots there, as almost all of them without exception would label anyone that disagrees with them a KOOK, America-hater, Muzzie-lover, etc... So I would just retaliate with a few choice words for them myself, but never to the extent or the level of depravity some of them have stooped to.

Then somebody should have sold the stupid cunt a "clue" before she registered the forum under her own name and address, including phone number. Not "my" job...
After the Americans were killed in Fallujah, we all learned that they weren't soldiers, they were contractors/mercenaries from outfits like Blackwater. I went to Blackwater's website and found graphics showing the "heroes" there in their Darth-Vader-style Gestapo get-up and posted them to LP along with the comment that Iraqis did us all a favor killing them because otherwise these jackboots would be coming home to do to us what they were then doing to Iraqis. Many LPers took exception to my comment, including Fred Mertz (who was not yet then fully awakened to the dangerously Fascist turn our criminal government had taken) and Goldi used the uproar as cover for doing what she had long wished to do -- shut me up and ship me out, which she did in short order. I haven't been back since.

that's the address of the SaveAPatriot Foundation whose server hosted LP while Neil was involved. Goldi lives in Florida, not Maryland.
She still uses that address at the bottom of every page on her site.
If I recall, she used that address for people sending in money for her latest fundraiser as well.

Interesting story. Seems like Goldi's censored more than just a few people for stating their concerns on a self-proclaimed "uncensored free-speech website".
I'm taking that silly picture off of my tagline, it's a bit gut wrenching and I don't want to turn anyone's stomach. Let me know if you all miss it, I might put it back in upon popular demand.. :)

Ferret Mike was the nick I first used, I shortened it to ferret when I signed up at Free Republic in early 1998. I decided to go back to it as it is my real life nick name anyway. Interestingly enough I was going to do the nick correction at LP but Moldy- Smocks wanted me to do it with a new account and a notification of this new sign-up so she could turn ferret off. I'm sure you understand why I didn't trust her enough to do that. I first likely would have had her playing innocent 'oops!' game with an 8 post entry member limit on that account until she seemed to discover my E mailings about it to her after several prompts some weeks later. To know Moldy-Frocks is to heartily distrust the crap out of her.
heh, and I knew she wouldn't consider my calls to unban you, but I seized on the opportunity to rub her face in the dog shit that her decision to ban you was. I have not tried to make nice with the idiot either, we are done. I don't know if RaisedEyeBrows is going back there ever or not - the guy who also posted at LP from this building - as our last talks on the topic seemed to indicate a frustration of the hopelessness of posting at a forum that is open in name only where the owner stacks the cards against those with whom she strongly disagrees with, and don't contribute to the sort of atmosphere of artificial FReeperlike harmony she craves. One in which she is worshiped and loved as a grand arbiter of truth and enlightenment. She no doubt still suspects he and I are the same person and has said exactly that in open forum which is dumb as anyone is welcome to investigate and meet both of us in person or by phone if this were done for the purpose of proving there is two people here who have been posting on LP.
John Kotmair was never in control of LP. He was interested in helping out when things first got started but never had any decision making control over content. And as far as I know he's never posted, though I may have posted a couple of his writings there.

From digging around a bit, it appears that LP was better off with Kotmair than with Goldi at the helm, where I've read some of his posts there and he seems to be more level headed than the web witch.
