After the Israeli invasion of Lebanon, there was a significant editorial change at LP. At the moment Goldi decided to censor articles unfavorable to Israel,she should have removed the word "liberty" from the name of the forum and edited the homepage.
For me, the handwriting was on the wall when she moved a thread on a videotape of a FOX News report by Brit Hume and Carl Cameron concerning Israel to the Biker Bar.
Thanks to all that have kept the home fires burning on a site that permits individuals to post that believe in the Constitution and a sovereign United States and reject the globalist vision of a steady march towards global government.
I was banned at Freerepublic for opposing legislation that would restrict free speech critical of Israel on university campuses.
I was banned at Libertypost for posting articles critical of Israel and zionism.
I once took an oath to defend the Constitution which includes a mention of free speech.It is discouraging to see people place there devotion to a foreign power above that essential element of liberty called free speech.

I noticed the other day that Badlies posted a thread claiming he could no longer support the GOP. Must be 'they' realize there is little balance remaining on the forum and an attempt is being made to artifically inject a bit of it.
No doubt there is an attempt to be 'fair and balanced'--that is, of course, til after the elections. How easy it is to now come forth and bitch about the liar in chief's failed this or that! You mean to tell me, that as a businessman, this shill couldn't see the long term effects to all his business entities, let alone his wife, kids, and his own retired life, that what the liar in chief and his minions are doing to this country financially--for generations!
This is the off-year election cycle--let's pretend it is state campaigns that are the 'really' important stuff; after all, we've been told a zillion times that 'politics is local'; and even that though digusted with the congresscowards, the majority of voters think their own personal congresscoward is doing a good job.
Take away the 'national' limelight.........break it down into 'classes'....left hand not seeing what the right one is doing.

What you people can't deal with is that LP's tone varies from day to day based on those people who are posting. You want a site that has a FIXED Point of View, like FR or the other sites.

In an E mail she said there were publications she would not allow to be used as sources on LP and she is clearly lying in an inflammatory and intolerant manner in her last post to me.
You are either a free speech forum or not. Saying LP varies based on the belief systems and view of the posters after she has been banning them because their views are different then hers' and because she can't abide by the sources personally shows what a hypocrite she is.
She had no problem finding where I got the article from, because unlike Crystalk, I never hid where it was from. I showed her several time where he was posting inaccurately and hiding the source by deceptive use of the from box, so it was particularly infuriating she baited me with that particular false charge.
