WSFA 12 John Giles is known for his position with the Christian Coalition and the group's public stance on various issues. But now it seems the Alabama chapter and the national organization are parting ways. Giles says, "It is a big step. You know today, for us is a sad day, but yet a liberating day." Liberating, he says because of a change of focus at the national level. Giles adds, "We feel the Christian Coalition of America is drifting to the left, rapidly drifting to the left." Giles says when the group organized in 1989 the founding tenants united Christians together ... and now he's afraid they're being divided. He says, "Recently in an article, the Christian Coalition announced it's going to venture out into things like minimum wage, and net neutrality and now the environment." He maintains the Alabama group was even blind sided by the national organization. Giles says, "It started in 2003. We opposed the tax increase in Alabama. They came here, unannounced, and supported the tax increase." Giles says he doesn't feel the Alabama chapter is deserting the group. He says, "They left us ... We did not leave them." You will still see the group, only under a different name ... A name which will be chosen in time to endorse political picks in November. Michelle Combs, a national spokeswoman says "National pulled Alabama's affiliate agreement before today's press release was sent out."

Christian Coalition Losing Chapters Sounds like the Christian Coalition's Big Tent Theory will be great, just without people though.

Heh, yep, a big tent much like the bulge in the pants of a cross-dressed woman simulating a man's crotch with a dirty sock inside her fruit of the looms.
It looks to me like no one, right or left / dem or rep / commie or capitalist can figure out what team they're on these days. One minute these groups seem to be focused in a particular direction only to find that they've been duped or double-crossed by the leaders of their group. I believe it's intentional. No group has been as misled as the so-called Christian Conservatives. They should be slitting their wrists. And while social engineers from the democrap party gnash their teeth about Bush ... he's the biggest socialist to ever sit his criminal ass down in the oval office. When we as people, unwilling to align ourselves with outrageous liars and thieves, determine that it's about right and wrong not left and right, maybe then we can begin to dismantle this monstrosity that's choking the life out of a once fairly free nation. I also think this article shows that many are falling away from the so-called Christian (Moron) Coalition [Right] ... but it is simply a trap if they swing from right to left ... A vote for Bush is a vote for Fascism, a vote for Hillary is a vote for Fascism, a vote for Kerry is a vote for Fascism, ... they're all puppets having their strings pulled by the "FASCIST" international banking cabal. I see an exodus into internal exile taking place slowly, people removing themselves from the ridiculous situation of funding and supporting their own demise.

I see an exodus into internal exile taking place slowly, people removing themselves from the ridiculous situation of funding and supporting their own demise. Bingo. And I interpret "internal exile" to mean an individual-based stealth movement of civil unrest and disobedience. We can only hope it spreads.
