Goldi-Lox has banned aristeides. I completely understood Goldi-Lox’s motivations for banning me. I frequently expressed the opinion on Libertypost that the Israeli lobby and Americans that place the interests of Israel above the interests of the United States are a threat to our nation and to our government as defined by the Constitution. However, banning an individual like aristeides defies explanation. Aristeides has honorably served his country in uniform and believes strongly in America. As an individual with an impressive educational background and professional expertise, he was able to post his insight and informed opinions on a variety of issues. He brings quality to a forum and that is what brings participants. You can watch CNN and FOX for 24 straight hours and not see one commentator or guest that matches the intellect or the gift for analysis that aristeides brings to the table. Fortunately, there is a forum that provides a meeting ground for individuals that love this great country and the United States Constitution. I look forward to continuing to learn from aristeides' contributions.

I wouldn't worry so much about 4Dumb. Once we get the hate laws through, that anti-Semitic hellhole will be shut down for good. It's about time some of these Americans start to get some understanding that this crap's not going to be tolerated much longer. Anybody caught badmouthing Israel is committing treachery and treason against the American government in a time of war, and that's the death penalty. Adults that have some social manners and understanding. I have heard all of such before and am neither impressed by or interested in reading such postings. Being most are adults, it is too much to ask for a little decorum? I find it difficult to believe anyone here would allow such language in their home by total strangers. That being the case, perhaps I am in the wrong forum.
I know that morale is bad among our troops and stress is high. No matter how many awful stories that come out of Iraq, I know there are still many decent Americans trapped in those uniforms; all ages, both genders, trying to serve their county honorably. The same could be said about Germans in WWII.

Vulgarity for the sake of vulgarity is a childs game. There are many forums where that is the expected and accepted norm. That is the place for such as the above.

I agree that there are many decent men and women trapped in uniform doing a job that contradicts the mission they are actually supposed to be in uniform to accomplish; namely the defense and protection of the United States. In Iraq, they are working as Mercenaries for the Neo-Con agenda.

Recall that Goldi was fond of making the sort of mindless, hate filled posts that Marguerite is famous for. Goldi's net wide famous Palestinian comments are an example. Goldi, as a forum owner, took an amazing amount of grief for letting her bitternesss, hate and bigotry bleed through into her posts - and she eventually shut up. Is the true Goldi now showing up in the guise of Marguerite?

Goldi is an American whose identity is well known to some people. Marguerite, on the other hand, makes obvious mistakes in English like "tractations," and explains the admitted fact that she has never listened to Limbaugh's show by the assertion that she lives in "Europe." So I don't think Marguerite is Goldi. On the other hand, that leaves open the possibility that she sometimes plays Goldi on LP.

To make it look like someone else made a complaint against you, and that was reason enough to ban you. To appear as both accuser and judge might look unfair, and Goldi would need a trumped up charge to ban you. As I recall, the last time it was over using breaking news incorrectly. "Don" thinks Marguerite is a guy...link in #219 thread. I've found it difficult to discern the gender of a poster unless they reveal it themselves. Heck, someone here thought aristeides was a female after all these years.

Goldi claimed that, because the report appeared on The Huffington Post, that meant it had to be classified as "Blog," which meant that it could not be Breaking News.

IIRC, 'tractate' is a word used in the Talmud, as a part of their division of their renderings of various aspects of the law. It would seem to me, without checking this for certainty, that this Marguerite person is jewish, perhaps a friend or cohort of the site's owner....religious sisters, so to speak.
That suspension was temporary. The current one, however, appears to be permanent.
