University of New Hampshire administrators are standing behind a tenured professor who has publicly theorized that the U.S. government orchestrated the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, even as Gov. John Lynch condemned his remarks. Calling psychology professor William Woodward's theory "completely crazy and offensive," the governor said in a statement yesterday that he plans to address his concerns with the University System of New Hampshire Board of Trustees. Gov. John Lynch mug "Although academic freedom is important," the governor said, "if the UNH professor is promoting that view, it reflects a reckless disregard for the true facts and raises questions as to why such a professor would be teaching at the university in the first place." Woodward is a member of Scholars for 9/11 Truth, an organization that maintains the Bush administration permitted the terrorist attacks to occur, and may even have planned them, so as to rally the public around its policies.
True facts like Hani Hanjour did not have the skills or aptitude to fly a Boeing 757? True facts like never in the history of aviation has the government refused to release the information from the Cockpit Voice Recorders and Flight Data Recorders from a recovered crash until 9/11? True facts like the government confiscated the security videotape from the Comfort Inn in Portland where Atta reportedly spent his last night and the government refuses to release the video? True facts like the FBI arrived at the Citgo gas station minutes after the crash into the Pentagon and confiscated the station's security videotape that would have recorded Flight 11 and the FBI refuses to release the videotape in violation of the Freedom of Information Act?
Listening here in East Tennexico...I hope Jones is picking up new listeners by the *ssload...I can't believe people are ignorant enough to waste their time on the likes of Limbaugh, Hannity, and O'Reilly. What complete and utter idiots.
Correction: It appears recently information from the Digital Flight Data Recorders from United 93 and American 77 have been released.
Can anyone tell me exactly how the government fingered Hanjour as the "pilot"? From what I understand, he wasn't even on the flight manifest.
I would think most here would agree that it's plausable that the government had prior knowledge of the event. I also think many believe that this new pearl harbor was used as a catalyst for war in the middle east. As support, I point to the story of the dancing Israelis - the one Fox News Network killed quickly - and the PNAC papers.

That is a very murky area. As far as Hanjour being on the plane, even that is murky. As far as Hanjour being at the controls,since he was the only reported hijacker with a pilot license,the FBI reported Hanjour as the hijacker pilot.
According to the NTSB,the autopilot was disconnected 35 miles west of the Pentagon at 9:29 am and the remainder of the attack was hand flown. That included a 330 degree turn and a descent from 7000 ft to impact. The reported hand flown maneuver by Hani Hanjour was well beyond his skill level.
Getting there...I used to think New Jersey drivers were the worst I'd ever seen, but they are little old ladies compared to Mexicans. Whenever I see a trcukload of them coming up behind me; I tell my wife to brace for impact. So far, so good.
Nuts...trcukload = truckload. My Spanish isn't very good, I'm afraid. But I'm brushing up on my Smith and Wesson, along with some Mossberg.
As far as Hanjour being on the plane, even that is murky. I haven't seen ANY evidence of Hanjour having been on the plane. It appears they picked his name out of a hat or something...

The original FBI list of hijackers on Flight 77 reported by CNN did not include Hani Hanjour.Later, the FBI changed the list to include Hani Hanjour. Some early press reports implied Hani Hanjour was not on the passenger manifest.Quite frankly,the 9/11 Commission Report and the footnotes did not clear up the question you have asked,imo. It just added a little more murkiness.
