I'm really surprised they'd air this on TV - I'm wondering what the broader context of the movie is, or if this is the main thing.

Personally I would much rather see Bush impeached, tried for treason and executed (or sitting in Club Fed for the next 50 years at least). Assassination only makes him seem like a martyr. I do have to wonder at the motive behind this picture.

But with his health, who is after Cheney? That's more important, IMO.

That reminds me, supposedly Cheney may be resigning after the '06 elections. I forget where I read that.

A Cheney resignation, followed by a Bush departure, whether through assassination or otherwise, might be the only way they can get Condi Rice into the presidency.

They certainly have been pushing for Rice to be president. I guess it would make it hard for white America to criticize her at all, about anything. SO many people suffer from white guilt and they'd just be labelled as racists if they criticized anything she did or said. And a woman too!!! and a GAY woman, probably. She's a puppet master's dream.
