I saw a show on PBS about Skyscrapers last night. In one segment a group of engineers studied the WTC collapse to gather insight for future skyscraper design. They determined that the collapses were not caused by loss of floor integrity, known as the "pancake effect" lauded in the official version, but by damage to support column beams. That, to me, is damning evidence. They did not go so far as to say the collapses were not caused by the plane crashes into the towers but I would think that begs the question, what caused the support beams to collapse, and then, how could that completely bring down the entire structure... in three buildings?
I will try to record the show when it is aired again. There is some good footage of the design of the WTC, the piece with the engineers, and also some segments with Larry Silverstein.
It is beyond question that the official version of events on 9/11 were a series of deceptions. There are so many discrepancies and outright falsehoods in every event of that day that a full independent investigation is warranted and should be demanded by the American people. The only question left is when? Our future is at stake, and the linchpin is what happened on that fateful day in September of 2001.
They determined that the collapses were not caused by loss of floor integrity, known as the "pancake effect" lauded in the official version, but by damage to support column beams.
That is consistent with the video recording of the collapse of the North Tower.
The North Tower featured a massive 360 foot high TV antenna added in 1978.
The antenna mast was mounted to the core columns. The antenna mast moving downward was the first indication of collapse.
The key problem with the official version is explaining how a sufficient number of the core columns were heated to a critical temperature that resulted in failure. An office fire initiated by jet fuel does not explain it,imo.
