But hey, seriously: have a restful night, and a super Labor Day weekend. :)

You have a great Labor Day weekend yourself! As for me? I'm gettin' dragged off by my wife for some old fashioned southern 'girl shoppin' for the next few hours, then it's off to a 3 year old's birthday party. Would someone please kill me?

Morning. Labor Day weekend, where did the damn summer go? I can tolerate the inevitability of the passage of time, but I don't know if I can take stories up until September 11th about the lies Bush tells in his pump up the people grown wise to him tour of his.

Send the bastard to Portland, Oregon to give a speech. He needs a wake-up call, not a groomed, potted plant of an audience to speak to.

Hey RaisedEyeBrows, how was your trip? Good to hear you made it back.

It was hell. The only upside to the whole experience was that the hostess let us keep some of the 'Care Bear' plates we were eating off of so we can take them to the firing range next weekend. I can't frickin' wait. Shame there were't any 'Barney' or 'Teletubbies' plates, as well. :-(

Yup, it was. And I actually wonder of anyone was stupid enough to try to lay in the water when someone drove the truck. A wave of water exiting a stopping truck is always interesting when it contains a clueless Billybob.

Ghoulie is not the only one with a ghost of a dead brain at LP, some real typical arrogance with a jab at 5UM thrown in by brother bunnie:

Your dietary preferences are making my point for me.

Corn diet will kill you. This was so prevalent I know children ( your age now) from Petersburg told by their grandparents not to eat popcorn or corn on the cob because it was poisonous....they were unwittingly referring to the slow but pot-bellied starvation called pellagra

pellagra

–noun Pathology: a disease caused by a deficiency of niacin in the diet, characterized by skin changes, severe nerve dysfunction, mental symptoms, and diarrhea.

I would agree that a diet high in corn syrup hurts people.

Which it doesn't with a normal intake of everything else...

again....this is not your forte'

This is 4um speculation....and wrong

Well Brer' should know what a diet too high in corn will do. Funny Brer' can't keep his little (soon to be lucky) rabbit foot out of the 4um tar.

That reminds me of a story I heard from a Hungarian coworker. She said when we sent corn to europe after WWII, they fed it to the pigs. Maize wasn't considered fit for human consumption. And, she sounded really ungrateful too.

BTW, I look a bit like my maternal gr-gr grandma who smoked a corn-cob pipe. Her mother preferred a clay pipe; when she laughed the pipe fell-out and scorched whatever she was sewing. I could tell you about the pros and cons of these pipes, but I'll save it for another thread. ;P
