The State Department has a web page dedicated to what it calls correcting the misinformation of homegrown 911 conspiracy theorists. I would like to open a thread to those of us in the 911 Truth movement who might like to use their web page for target practice. They float some easy targets. According to them, anyone who believes Flight 93 was shot down is some kind of whack job. Does this include Donald Rumsfeld who admitted it was shot down? And they further state that the planes could not have been remotely controlled. The Armed Forces Institute of Pathology did a DNA study of the remains of everyone on Flight 77 which is alleged to have hit the Pentagon. They found no Arab DNA. So State must also be condemning AFIP as wing nuts. Might as well throw in the FBI which said there is no evidence that Osama had anything to do with 911. Of course we could start an entire website with salient information the State Department never tried to refute. Whoever wrote that deserves to spend eternity in the lowest point of hell. And I am someone who does not believe in hell (though I am a religous person.)

So far it appears they are just directing poeple to the the PM article that has already been debunked. UNFFREAKINVBELIEVABLE!!! This proves beyound a doubt the PM is nothing more than an mouthpiece for the elite in our government. God is always good! I see that the State Department repeatedly cites Popular Mechanics for support. Apparently, they think that the specious claims of an obvious CIA front led by a relative of Homeland Security Director Chertoff adds weight to their own specious claims. However, zero plus zero still equals zero.

They are helping PM to sell their book, which nobody appears to be interested in. By doing this they have proved they are desperate. Their message is not getting out like they though it would even though they control almost all major media outlets. Israel must not get a pass for their role in 9/11. They will try to blame it solely on the rogue criminal elements in our government like Sibel Edmonds has done, please don't buy it. Israel had a huge role in 9/11 and people really need to know about it because the so-called leaders of the 9/11 truth movement are not exposing them as they should.
God is always good! They don't write these things for critical thinkers. They write them so people who are the most profoundly troubled at the thought of their government doing these false flag operations will feel comforted and close their eyes, ears and thus another troublesome mouth to the truth. This site is a blue pill, http://www.prisonplanet.com/ and http://www.infowars.com/ are red pill sites. The criminals are sweating, and don't be surprised when the backlash from them really turns vicious and ugly, because as the truth comes out, they have nothing left to lose by being as ugly and dangerous as they know how to be. If they could separate Watson, Jones and the others from those they have enlightened, they would off them fast, preferably by acting to destroy their reputations. We must build the base of people who know and care about what really happened on 9-11. This is a truly dangerous and ruthless enemy, and anyone who doesn't internalize this information enough will be surprised and shocked at the where, when and how they show these aspects of their true nature.
The PM book is a total joke. Pure government paid article. How much money is spent every year for planted articles and tv/movie scripts? Billions? I saw a copy of it at the local bookstore. 1st grade material. To use that as credible "source" is just a plain laugh. Mark

The 9/11 conspiracy threads bother me for a couple of reasons. While the ability of government investigators to get at the truth of 9/11 is not something in which I am willing to invest much confidence, and while the collapse of WTC 7, and other strange phenomena, certainly present intriguing mysteries, it will always be difficult to persuade me that the same people who have brought us the Post Office could design and execute such a vast conspiracy as must have been necessary for 9/11 to have been an inside job. More importantly, the unresolved and perhaps unresolvable controversies surrounding the 9/11 conspiracy theories serve to detract from, and distract us from, more significant truths about 9/11, namely, that, regardless of who is responsible for 9/11, A) the NeoCons have taken unwarranted advantage of it in formulating a bellicose foreign policy that is sure to inspire more 9/11-type incidents, and B) the NeoCons hoped for, and had reason to expect, an event just like 9/11, to serve as their Pearl Harbor. Events such as '93 WTC and '00 Cole, as well as Bin Laden's fatwahs (warning us of more such events unless we changed our ME foreign policy), provided plenty of evidence that more attacks on our territory could be expected, as long as we continued ME interventions such as those about which he complained, namely, stationing troops in Saudi Arabia, daily bombing of the illegal no-fly sones in Iraq, sanctions against Iraq, and military and financial support for Israel.
Who have gained the most from 911? This whole operation didn't involve as many people as one would think. You can't compare the P.O. with a covert event. The 93 WTC bombing was a FBI sting that went live. OBL has never confessed to 911. The so called video was a hoax and never confirmed. The FBI on its website has stated that there is no sound or credible evidence linking OBL to 911. The CIA shut down looking for OBL almost a year ago. I agree with you in the fact, one could forget all the physicalities of the day, and focus on all the people, money, and paper trails and have enough evidence of high treason and murder. Mark

Come on, this is a sophomoric throw-away argument. No "9/11 conspiracy thread" that I've ever seen has ever blamed the Postal Workers' Union for "designing and executing" 9/11. In fact, I've never seen a "conspiracy thread" that pretended to finger exactly who in "the government" "designed and executed" the "vast conspiracy" of 9/11, if any did. At all events, there's no comparison between the design and function of a government department like the Post Office, long and openly a source of patronage and pork, and an illegal and undemocratic conspiracy by individuals who happen to have government positions (or maybe just some of whom happen to have government positions)---the latter are no more likely to fail or less likely to succeed than individuals in the private sector. In fact, they're arguably more likely to succeed in "designing and executing" a "vast conspiracy" like 9/11 if they have the aids unavailable in the private sector of government police powers, powers of requisition, and a cloak of secrecy enforceable by penalty of law. The best 9/11 truth sites, like Scholars for 9/11 Truth, refuse to be distracted by red herrings and straw men arguments making issues of things like who was in the "conspiracy," how they got the charges in the buildings, etc. Their focus is simply on the validity of the official 9-11 version: the bearded guy in a cave on the other side of the world directing 19 guys to hijack planes, and fly them into the WTC buildings, with the result that the Twin Towers, and a building that no plane had struck, WTC 7, suddenly and completely collapsed into their footprints within hours after the event. If that version is exploded, it doesn't matter for the sake of your argument to what extent the "government designed and executed" the "vast conspiracy" of 9/11: the legitimacy of the "War on Terror" is still extinguished.
That technology existed in WWII. The Germans had radio guided missles used to attack allied shipping and the Americans had either a B-17 or B-29 full of explosives that was to be radio guided into a hardened bunker target that was giving ground troops a lot of trouble. The B-1 bomber was built with an autopilot that could fly at low level through vallies and such because human reflexes were not fast enough at supersonic speeds. In the age of GPS and satalites, computer controled aircraft would be easy. Hell, my airline pilot uncle says that the only reason planes have pilots is for takeoff and landing and in case the autopilot craps out. The autopilot does all the flying.

Even if the bearded guy in the cave did convince 19 hijackers to attack us and kill less than 3,000 New Yorkers, that is no excse for the WOT. 40,000 people a year die in auto accidents in the US. Has Bush begun a War On Traffic? The tarrrists are a mere inconvenience, who would lapse into insignificance if our troops vacated the Middle East (and the rest of the world).
Here's what "turned" me on the issue: even if you accept the "bearded guy in a cave directing 19 nutjobs to hijack planes and fly 'em into WTC" story, the explanation of the government how those three WTC buildings---1, 2, and 7---collapsed that day doesn't make a bit of frickin' sense. The mere fact that the government is investing so much into convincing people of its fairy version of how the WTC buildings collapsed is evidence at the very least that we purposefully are not being told the truth about the collapse, and strong circumstantial evidence that we aren't being told the truth about other aspects of the 9/11 story. "Occam's razor" for me cuts in favor of those questioning the official version---not at all in favor of those defending it.
The original story is so wrong, it can't be correct. The stories keep changing, especially NORAD/NEADS. The FEMA/ASCE, SILVERSTEIN, NIST, and 911 COMMISSION reports are flawed and full of holes. Mark

The hypotheses I have seen are all really guesswork, and very bad, far-fetched guesswork to boot. The NIST quite clearly states on its special 9/11 website that "The NIST investigation of the WTC 7 building collapse is not yet complete. The report on the WTC 7 collapse investigation will be released in draft form for public comment and posted on this web site as soon as it is available." In other words, there is no official explanation of the collapse of WTC 7 yet. Just believe that the bearded guy in a cave is to blame for it somehow...

It didn't work then, and it doesn't work now. The illegal stats were not nearly so high then, of course. There seems to be a disproportionate number of pedaphiles among the illegals too.

The source is an article written by Congressman Steve King, R-Iowa...click here to read it. The '46,000' figure is arrived at by multiplying the number of days since 9/11 by the '25 deaths a day' cited by the Congressman. According to his staff; his figures are sourced from the FBI and Mothers Against Drunk Driving; among others.
About 15,000 murders per year occur in the US. That would be 75,000 since 9/11. It is simply not credible that almost two thirds were committed by illegal aliens. The 25 deaths a day stat needs a source beyond the word of a congresscritter.
His article states that TWELVE a day meet a violent death at the hands of an illegal; another THIRTEEN are killed by illegals driving drunk. Call his office, and they will provide you with the sources for these statistics. As stated; the FBI, Mothers Against Drunk Driving, and a few others I can't remember off the top of my head. I have seen this figure cited on a number of forums and in many opinion columns, and no one has "debunked" them, to date.
Interesting terminology. The just-announced President's National Policy on Combatting Terrorism speaks of "misinformation and conspiracy theories."
