Activism See other Activism Articles Title: I AM ONLY ONE I AM ONLY ONE by Michael Goza Anyone with a sense of discernment can look around and realize there is something seriously wrong with our nation, our society, our culture, and last but not least, our government. The foundations are crumbling. Our Constitution in shambles. God is kicked out of every aspect of our lives. The inept corporate church is no threat to the enemies of our Republic. The church for the most part is silent. Content to remain hidden safely inside it's four walls preaching unlimited submission to Caesar. I know first hand the feeling of being overwhelmed by it all. The feeling of helplessness that sometimes consumes us when we look around and realize how well our enemies have succeeded in destroying our once great Republic. But this letter is not about what is wrong with our nation. It is about what we can do to join in the Revolution to take it back. It is a call to arms, if you will. No, not with your guns. At least not yet. But with your time and money. It's about small but effective steps each of us must begin to take as individuals to reclaim our nation. We need not numbers. We need dedicated individuals. Only 5% of our population participated in the American Revolution. With that 5% we defeated the most powerful military in the world and formed the greatest nation on earth. Imagine what we could do with 5% today. I hear quite often, "I'm only one. What can I do?" This question is not a new one and it is answered most eloquently by Everett Hale when he said;"I am only one, but I am one. I cannot do everything, but I can do something. What I can do, I should do and, with the help of God, I will do!" So this is about what you can do. What each of you as individuals must do if we are to save what's left of our nation for the sake of posterity. I personally cannot look into the eyes of my two young daughters, who for the most part, are naive to the wickedness of this world, and not take a stand. If we do not stand and make the necessary sacrifice now, can you even begin to fathom what kind of country we are going to leave for them? I go pale at the thought of it. So what can you do? The possibilities are unlimited. Here are a few I recommend. I'm sure there are many others who can make better suggestions than I. First, Pray. Pray that God will heal this nation and bring revival to the land. Pray for our enemies. Pray that God will change their hearts and confuse their wicked plans. II Chron. 7:14 To change this nation we must first begin in our own homes. In our own hearts. We must do as George Washington during the darkest days of the Revolution. Get on our knees and fervently ask for guidance, direction, and wisdom in the battle that confronts us. We must stop supporting those that use our money to finance our own demise. We must give support to those who are hard at work defending what is left of our liberty. Support the brave men and women of the Minuteman Project. www.minutemanproject.com God bless them for taking time away from their jobs and families to do what our government has not the integrity or backbone to do. That being, to defend our borders and uphold the supreme law of the land, the U.S. Constitution. It should be an outrage to every law-abiding American citizen that our "president" has sided with a foreign country which encourages and instructs it's own citizens in how to illegally enter the United States. Bush calls those that defend our sovereignty "vigilantes" and says he will "press Congress to loosen immigration policies." Support those political parties that advocate "One Nation Under God" and a return to Constitutional government. www.constitutionparty.com It should be obvious to anyone with eyes to see that the Republican and Democratic parties are actually one. They both advance Socialism and sacrifice daily our rights and liberties on the alters of party loyalty. Daily they break the oath they've sworn before God to uphold, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States. Support those whom are getting the truth out over the airwaves such as James Edwards and Austin Farley of "The Political Cesspool" www.thepoliticalcesspool.org Change your internet provider to Freedom 21. www.freedom21.com Part of your monthly internet fee will go the freedom organization of your choice. AOL, to use one example, funds many of the homosexual organizations that push their perversion upon our children. Support the many internet news sites that strive daily to bring you truth such as: Team America http://www.teamamericapac.org/ Support financially the many pro-Constitution organizations that are vigorously defending your rights and liberties and so desperately need your funds. Most of these folks are just regular working people who sacrifice what little money they have in efforts to wake their fellow citizens by making copies of important information at Kinko's, copying and lending out video tapes, etc. Each in their own small way battling to spread truth to a mostly ignorant populace that looks to the government controlled press for information. We drop 20 bucks without a thought for entertainment purposes. That same 20 bucks a month would make a huge difference to organizations fighting for your future. Are we so enamored with being entertained that we will sacrifice the most truly animating contest of all, the fight for Freedom? Do we desire peace to the point of selling out the souls of ourselves and our children to godless tyrants? At what point will we say enough? For those who believe there is a righteous God who rules in the affairs of men, there comes a moment in which they realize life is not worth living for life's sake alone. There must come a time and place for moral men to decide that they cannot surrender one more inch of ground, tolerate one more injustice, nor retreat from one more act of adversity. We can no longer sit idle. We can no longer put our head in the sand and pretend all this will go away. We need to take action now or forever lose the precious freedoms that were paid for in blood by our Forefathers. We can stand now while there is still a chance of a bloodless revolution or we may be forced to stand later when the price will be much more costly. I found an excellent quote from of all places the children's movie "Princess Diaries." The quote is this; "Courage is not the absence of fear, but the judgment that something else is more important than fear. The brave may not live forever, but the cautious do not live at all." "Gentleman may cry, peace, peace - but there is no peace. The war is actually begun! The next gale that sweeps from the north will bring to our ears the clash of resounding arms! Our brethren are already in the field! Why stand we here idle? What is it gentleman wish? What would they have? Is life so dear or peace so sweet, as to be purchased a the price of chains and slavery? Forbid it, Almighty God - I know not what course others may take; but as for me, give me liberty or give me death!" Patrick Henry Whom do you choose to obey? I've seen his name a couple of other places. He's on the right side of the Mason-Dixon and he is a spokesman for the Tennessee Constitution Party.
