For Immediate Release
Office of the Press Secretary
September 5, 2006

Notice: Continuation of the National Emergency with Respect to Certain Terrorist Attacks

Consistent with section 202(d) of the National Emergencies Act (50 U.S.C. 1622(d)), I am continuing for 1 year the national emergency I declared on September 14, 2001, in Proclamation 7463, with respect to the terrorist attacks at the World Trade Center, New York, New York, the Pentagon, and aboard United Airlines flight 93, and the continuing and immediate threat of further attacks on the United States.

Because the terrorist threat continues, the national emergency declared on September 14, 2001, and the measures adopted to deal with that emergency must continue in effect beyond September 14, 2006. Therefore, I am continuing in effect for an additional year the national emergency I declared on September 14, 2001, with respect to the terrorist threat.

This notice shall be published in the Federal Register and transmitted to the Congress.

GEORGE W. BUSH

THE WHITE HOUSE,

September 5, 2006.

Yup. In a week, I'll swing a beer and toast the *Fifth Anniversary* of our State of Emergency.

Nobody should be laughing about this. Here's why.

Today I went to my local supermarket where I shop regularly. There were, and the operative word here is WERE, a group of remarkably attractive Bosnian women who worked there. The operative term is worked. Within the last week, they've all quit, save one, who is leaving in another week or so, all of whom are going back to Bosnia.

Now, with that said, is Bosnia back to normal? Is Bosnia like Minnesota? These people were shipped, here, and now apparently after becoming citizens, they're going back home.

I find this quite peculiar, especially the timing of it. Everyone should be looking at who they know, who they talk to from foreign countries, and if you're seeing an exodus, that's when you know something isn't right.

I've noticed a lot of things as of late that bothered me. It seems as if the Ukrainian contingent is also going back home as well. I used to order pizza from my local pizza hut and they had hired a Ukrainian. He's also gone home recently.

I'm of the mind that these are tell tale signs of something peculiar coming. Either that, or all these people just happened to be going home around the same time.

What's that Mr. Nipples? You want me to ask the nice lady about her rack?.

You'll notice that none of the Mexicans are going back. Not a single one.

"Come visit Bosnia - We don't suck as much as Mexico."

The Slavic people are sick of oppressive governments and there was a lot of unoffical "house cleaning" when the USSR broke up. I know a former Romanian airforce officer who went off on a bunch of TSA goons and started swearing at them and calling them the new KGB.

A Ukranian or a resident of the former Yugoslaiva knows a police state in the making when they see it and they are deathly afraid of getting stuck behind another Iron Curtain.

"The more I see of life, the less I fear death" - Me.

The Slavic people have, in their very name, a description of the kind of person they do not wish to be ever again. Slaves.

Good for the Eastern Europeans for calling it as they see it. Would that more people would have the guts in this country to do so.

Some day I'll post something about my last encounter with the Tan Klan and an Educrat who wound up having to defend herself once her charges of racism were thrown back in her face :-)
