White House Targets Conspiracy Theorists As Terrorist Recruiters

'Strategy for winning the war on terror' says world contaminated, corrupted by misinformation

Paul Joseph Watson/ http://PrisonPlanet.com | September 7 2006

RELATED:Bush Releases Updated National Strategy For Combating Terrorism

A document cited by President Bush in his recent speech at the Capital Hilton Hotel on how to 'win the war on terror' cites conspiracies as one of the wellsprings of terrorism and threatens to "address" and "diminish" the problems they are causing the government in fulfilling their agenda.

On Tuesday Bush referred to the strategy paper as "an unclassified version of the strategy we've been pursuing since September the 11th, 2001," that takes into account, "the changing nature of this enemy."

The document says that terrorism springs from "subcultures of conspiracy and misinformation," and that "terrorists recruit more effectively from populations whose information about the world is contaminated by falsehoods and corrupted by conspiracy theories. The distortions keep alive grievances and filter out facts that would challenge popular prejudices and self-serving propaganda."

The terminology echoes President Bush's speech (video below) to the UN General Assembly on November 10th 2001 in which he stated, "Let us never tolerate outrageous conspiracy theories concerning the attacks of September the 11th, malicious lies that attempt to shift the blame away from the terrorists themselves, away from the guilty."

This is an outright threat to the 9/11 truth movement and is meant to have a chilling effect on freedom of speech.

It is also a callous reminder that the administration that has been the progenitor of the most heinous and deliberate campaign to mislead and lie to its own people is so transfixed by its own hubris that it has the temerity to accuse others of propagating deceptive information.

This is the same administration that deliberately included the Niger yellow cake fraud in a state of the union speech to sell a war - knowing that the information was completely bogus.

How dare they threaten us with the very defining characteristic of their black legacy and equate us with terrorists?

This is a direct assault on the alternative media and a continuation of the twilight zone rhetoric that saw the administration attempt to link its critics with Fascists and Hitler appeasers. The only fascists that should really concern us are not imaginary 'Blogofascists' or 'Islamofascists' but the Neo-Fascist slugs that occupy the White House and their cheerleading sycophants in the mainstream media and congress.

This is by no means the first time political enemies of the state have been smeared as terrorist sympathizers.

Alex Jones' 2001 documentary film 9/11: The Road to Tyranny featured footage from a FEMA symposium given to firefighters and other emergency personnel in Kansas City in which it was stated that t he founding fathers, Christians and homeschoolers were terrorists and should be treated with the utmost suspicion and brutality in times of national emergency.

We have highlighted previous training manuals issues by state and federal government bodies which identify whole swathes of the population as potential terrorists. A Texas Department of Public Safety Criminal Law Enforcement pamphlet gives the public characteristics to identify terrorists that include buying baby formula, beer, wearing Levi jeans, carrying identifying documents like a drivers license and traveling with women or children.

A Virginia training manual used to help state employees recognize terrorists lists anti-government and property rights activists as terrorists and includes binoculars, video cameras, pads and notebooks in a compendium of terrorist tools.

Shortly after 9/11 a Phoenix FBI manual that was disseminated amongst federal employees at the end of the Clinton term caused waves on the Internet after it was revealed that potential terrorists included, "defenders of the US Constitution against federal government and the UN, " and individuals who "make numerous references to the US Constitution." Lawyers everywhere cowered in fear at being shipped off to Gitmo.

In May we broke the exclusive of a nationwide FEMA program which is training Pastors and other religious representatives to become secret police enforcers who teach their congregations to "obey the government" in preparation for a declaration of martial law, property and firearm seizures, and forced relocation.

'High-Value' Detainees Transferred to Guantanamo

Think about this story in the above link, what is this indicative of? Why are they consolidating their current prisoner base if they were not freeing up assets in preparation to conduct a large scale operation of some kind?

We need to coldly and rationally look at indicators that point to preparation for a preemptive strike on those trying to expose these criminals. It is more then a little likely we don't have much time left before they launch a very bad operation.

I would not be surprised if there were not a whole lot of people in isolation phase preparing to act, even as I speak here. Isolation phase is a preparatory operation that takes weeks or months, and involves study, preparation and drills.

Very likely too that if they are going to act against the general public, they will not only use the media and people like religious leaders to confuse and pacify, they will use foreign troops to do basic detention and confinement activities that are less squeamish about brutally crushing resistance. Read about the Tiananmen Square crackdown of 1989 a it will give you a better idea what to expect. That I strongly believe is looked at as a model on how to enslave us and crush any resistance to the removal of what freedoms we have left.

I am in profound agreement with you. They will act trying to preserve the element of surprise, and they will use overwhelming force to try to reduce their losses and prevent their operations from becoming compounded with difficulties.

This is how they do things. I have the training and first hand education from my years as a Special Forces Soldier enough to know this and to be profoundly alarmed. I have been up most the night worrying. And I don't get this worried about these things that easily. Trust me.

Indie, locally they have taken away the street parking close to the Lane County Jail entrance used to intake prisoners. They em-placed permanent orange cones a foot apart from each other and have bags locked on the meters, the meters are still installed. They have also cleared all large limbs on trees near the entrances themselves that could be troublesome to large vehicles. I am talking about limbing trees beyond the norm making them quite ugly. They didn't do these things in a vacuum.

I wish I could say more about other things I am watching, but that would be foolish to do at this point.

Go out and open your eye to what is happened out of the norm you would normally not notice. Being vigilant never ever hurts.

Nope, this is a high stakes game. Vigilance and getting the message out to watch for them acting makes it harder and more costly to do. There is no wasted effort in doing this.

Remember how the Iraqis have stalled the enslavement of their country by this new world order so far.

If they can do it, we can do it better.

You are correct and I have been thinking about the same thing. They will preserve economic aspects of the Internet and as much as possible to keep the appearances up of normalcy.

Sites they have compromised by buying off the owners like FReeperland bear watching for minor nuances showing a shift in spin. Home computers of targeted individuals can be remotely locked down too and you would get a screen informing you your machine has been frozen. Keep a spare, preferably with Linux on it in case your online machine gets frozen. I am an activist, so I feel more likely to get my machine locked. I also assume I am monitored, so I feel no fetters about giving my thoughts concerning this.

It is far more likely they will just shut sites down and not do this, but assume nothing.

This site definitely will be shut down. If this happens, STAY OUT OF FREEPERMAIL E MAIL OR OTHER PLACES THEY CAN MONITOR WITH INFORMATION YOU DON'T WANT THEM TO HAVE.

Be prepared and practiced to use alternative means to communicate. The higher the level of the actions being done after a shut down of this and other sites and actions to interdict and control people, the more secure you need to make your communications. Even if that slows them down considerable.

Be very picky about what you communicate, it is nice to know if others elsewhere are alright, but keeping yourself free an secure will benefit them more then if you are interdicted inquiring about them.

It is a well known fact that the so-called patriot movement, as well as the white seperatist movements, are heavily infiltrated with undercover government enforcers from various agencies. Therefore it is only logical that the government would also have enforcers posing as anti-government radicals on web- based political forums such as this one.

It has also been proven (to my satisfaction anyway) that government enforcers masking as members of the patriot movement and the white seperatist movement instigate trouble by taking leadership or quasi-leadership positions in the above groups and then lead members into breaking the law. This allows the government to imprison potential troublemakers while furthering the career of the enforcer(s).

Therefore, IMHO, it would be wise to be wary of posts advocating violence against the government. If you see such postings, my suggestion would be to not respond. It could be a government enforcer attempting to bait a trap. If the above article is correct (and I have my doubts as to Alex Jones, Prison Planet, Infowars) then the government will be actively pursuing those who do not toe the line.

Also. If the government is going to begin going after people, I do not see it taking place until after the November elections.

EXCELLENT!

If America is destroyed, it may be by Americans who salute the flag, sing the national anthem, march in patriotic parades, cheer Fourth of July speakers - normally good Americans who fail to comprehend what is required to keep our country strong and free - Americans who have been lulled into a false security (April 1968).---Ezra Taft Benson, US Secretary of Agriculture 1953-1961 under Eisenhower

very logical thinking about the infiltration.

I think people under-estimate the money that the people who rule us have and their willingness to use their resources as well as their abilities. Between the federal government and the 12 member banks - the federal reserve receives between 8 & 10% of our entire gdp in the form of cash as payments for money- creation services. and yet they have practically no expenses in comparison. that's a massive amount of money. On top of that what is to stop them from covertly creating money for themselves? nothing! Money means very little to them.

The systems they have for subverting us are very sophistocated.

True, and that is scary, but I don't think Bush will stop there. Not only will the 911 Truth Movement be branded a conspiracy theory and attacked, but ideas such as "We Arn't Doing So Good In Iraq" will also be branded a conspiracy theory and attacked. Here are some others:

The underhanded and determined way that Bush goes after the 911 Truth people really makes you think the 911 group is on the right track.

If there is nothing to be found, Bush could really damage the movement by just going on TV and saying "Ahhh ... they're just a pack of kooks". He doesn't do this however, he quietly sets up a system where he can squelch them.

He's acting like a person with something to hide.

Uncle Bill brought to our attention that Bush attacked 9/11 conspiracists immediately after 9/11, before anyone questioned the event.

"We must speak the truth about terror. Let us never tolerate outrageous conspiracy theories concerning the attacks of September the 11th, malicious lies that attempt to shift the blame away from the terrorists themselves, away from the guilty." George W. Bush - Speaking before the UN General Assembly 11/10/2001.

aristeides comment was:

The first publication of a conspiracy theory about 9/11 of which I am aware was Thierry Meyssan's 11 Septembre 2001 : L'effroyable imposture, which was published Mar. 8, 2002, in France.

"If there’s another 9/11 or a major war in the Middle-East involving a U.S. attack on Iran, I have no doubt that there will be, the day after or within days an equivalent of a Reichstag fire decree that will involve massive detentions in this country."

Septembre 2001 : L'effroyable imposture

I read this. It covers most of what is now said about the Pentagon strike. It does a good job of talkiong about what is SOP for scrambling fighters and what the response should have been. It also has some great pictures in the back showing the heat signature of missile strikes and airplane crashes. Missiles are much hotter than the fuel explosions. He has a photo of the actual explosion and the colors match the heat signature of a missile. He makes a great case for a missile strike.

He blames the US for the strike. I think this is the reason the book was panned in the US right after 911 - this feeling wasn't popular at all at that time.

Considering a large portion of the electorate believe the government was somehow involved in 9/11, there may be a large backlash if Bush begins rounding up people before the elections. This move may cause people to vote who do not normally vote, and I doubt these votes will be for the GOP.

Then again, logic isn't a Bush strong point.

As far as Jones and the accuracy of claims in this article,... good idea to verify everything...

What worries me about Jones, Watson, and others in their genre, is how they sensationalize everything in such as way as to make people really angry. Sensationalize is not really the right word, but I'm not a wordsmith, so I can't think of anything better to come up with. Anyway, what worrys me about these guys relates back to my original post.

They may be up to snuff and exactly what they say they are, i.e., patriots out to spread the word about a corrupt government intent on evil. However, they could also be government plants who write stories like the above to piss people off enough to get them talking. This allows the government to then gather lists of those doing the talking and target those who they feel are a little too angry for the government's own good. Or maybe target those who are in a position to influence others, or who knows what use the government could make of such lists.

Maybe I'm giving the government too much credit, but with a multi-trillion dollar budget, and the largest workforce in the country, there is no telling what they are capable of, and no limit to the evil they will do.

My point was that the infowars article, as usual, linked to the actual govt document which the article refers to.

As far as Jones, that is interesting.. I suppose it would be naive to think it's completely IMPOSSIBLE that he is some sort of agent- I've followed him for some time and I doubt it.

On the one hand, Alex was arrested for asking Governor George Bush a question about the federal reserve and CFR - ever see that video? very funny...

He snuck into bohemian grove which I have always, to this day, found suspicious and very unlikely, I finally saw the video DARK SECRETS OF BOHEMIAN GROVE and it is a must see. The follow up at the end, when Jones returns to Texas after escaping the grove infiltration intact, and bullhorns bush outside a GOP event .. the sincere outrage at what he had just seen, with a gruesome looking grim reaper as his sidekick in tow... is damn near the funniest thing I have EVER seen. You will be cheering, i was laughing so hard i had tears in my eyes. The guy is really hilarious.

Another good question- Why is Alex Jones allowed on Clear Channel's Coast to Coast on a regular basis? Why is he on CNN and CSPAN? He undoubtedly tells the truth- maybe the media is not as controlled as we think? So, why hasn't Senator John Decamp been on CNN amd CSPAN talking about drug running govt run child slave rings????

Don't get me wrong- I am a big fan of Jones and respect his work., and have learned a lot from him. I attended his conference in June in L.A. he truly hates evil and the conference, especially his final speech at the end, after half the room had cleared out, shed light on this; it is what really drives Jones. There probably wasn't a dry eye in the house. As Jones had started out telling the story of an old vet whose home was stolen by the govt.. he referenced the Scipture about those who would hurt the little ones,.. and started crying in anger, about the wicked men who prey on and oppress the weakest in society. It was really a special powerful moment for those who know what this is really all about. I am honored to have been there and I am lucky to have recorded it too. My conclusion is that he is the real deal, legit and not an agent.

I'd also take a look at the Hungarian and Czech invasions of 56 and 68 respectivly. In both cases local troops (even Russians stationed there) refused to suppress the civilian population they had lived with for over a decade in com places.

In both instances local troops were removed and units from far flung districts or even other nations brought in to do the skull cracking.

This is what they intend to do here. Keep your powder dry. ;0)
