That was great to watch.

Hard to beat Joplin on that one IMO>.

However, the older I get, the more I appreciate the talents of each of those guys. While I'm not a Kristoferson fan at all.. to see Waylon & Cash........together like this.. not even the best effort... is still kind of a wistful moment. Men of their times, of their style, different, but the same. Brought together, to give an audience what they wanted to see.

What a true gift .

I really enjoyed that.

I love it when ego takes a back seat and lets the heart drive. It's far more appealing.

Interesting - thanks.

I was hearing some chord from "Sweet Clementine" in the riffs, but then, they were never completed.

I would not not wish to have a six hour CD of this stuff, but for the evening, one tune was great.

Yes - when we finally realize that we are mostly nothing - it's not a bad thing.

Too many think they are more than they are. More think they are less than they are. And all have equal influence in who we are. The person with the greatest ego feels cheated. LOL! Braggarts are never appreciated for the benchmark they are to real people. So sad.. :( (not)

Get back back with me on this one.

L, Will do.

I've seen him in person once. When he was filming the remake of 'A Star Is Born' with Barbra Striesand. They didn't want to use old rock crowd footage from Woodstock.. soooo they held a concert in Tempe Stadium in Phoenix. Tons of bands there, including Peter Frampton (if anyone remembers him... Do you Feeel, Like I doooo.. )

Anyway.. Kris was MESSED UP.. From there, of course had to see the movie.. Great. And naturally, being married to Rita Coolidge didn't hurt.

Of course she had a friend named Jesse.

And now you know the story.

Wow, I haven't heard of that movie in ages. I don't recall the scene you are referring too. That cover looks like it was designed by Peter Max or in that genre. A combination of Sgt. Pepper, Keep on Truckin' Dude, and James Bond ....
