Frankly, I think Phelps, though more than likely sincere in his kookdom- is funded by someone or some organization with an agenda that finds it useful to have a ranting lunatic showing up at military funerals shouting about the "gays". He has dozens of followers making multiple trips a across the country with little to no notice at military funerals and other events- and his church doesn't have that many members and they are not exactly millionaires. There is something behind this guy. Hundreds of airline tickets a year, hotel rooms, meals, people ready and willing to go with no notice across the country to scream about fags? Fishy.
