Asked tonight what the attack meant for relations between the United States and Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, the former prime minister, replied, "It's very good."

The "real time coverage" included an edit of Benjamin Netanyahu's appearance on CNN on 9/11.

Seeing the revision of history in "real time" was reminiscent of George Orwell's 1984.

Drawn into the tragedy, Israel declares a day of mourning and enlists blood donors. But it also has its own agenda: A team from the Spokesman's Office of the Israel Defense Forces was sent to film the scenes of joy and candy being handed out in East Jerusalem "for public relations purposes." The politicians compete with each other to present the tragedy as proof of their own long-standing political attitudes toward the Palestinians and use their best rhetorical skills to call for an international coalition to save Western civilization.

Fortunately,CNN did not leave out the scenes of joy in East Jerusalem.

The timeline is interesting.

Jerusalem is 7 hours ahead of the New York.

The world did not know it was an attack until United 175 crashed into the WTC at 4:03PM Jerusalem time. The sun sets in Jerusalem on 9/11 at around 6:52 PM. The video of the children celebrating the Spokesman's Office of the Israel Defense Forces passing out candy was broadcast on CNN at 3:37 PM New York Time or 10:37 PM Jerusalem time. The sun was still a long time from sunset when the Spokesman's Office of the Israel Defense Forces videotaped the children and one deranged woman celebrating the candy being passed out.

Consider the timeline.

You are sitting in the Spokesman's Office of the Israel Defense Forces. You learn of an attack on the U.S. at 4:03PM. Sunset is at 6:52PM. To get the footage before sundown,the Spokesman's Office of the Israel Defense Forces had to send someone out to East Jerusalem almost immediately after the first plane hit the tower.

The other possibility is there was advance notification just like that received by the five Israeli intelligence assets setup to videotape the first hijacked airliner crashing into the WTC.

At 6:30PM New York time on 9/11/01,Senator Orin Hatch said on CNN:

People that are dancing in the streets we need to remember who they are.

No Senator Hatch, the people we need to remember are the Israelis that were setup in advance in Liberty State Park in time to videotape the first hijacked airliner crashing into the WTC.

We need to remember what former Israeli Prime Ministers say about 9/11:
"It's very good."

I've tried for years to find someone who had the good sense to drop a tape in the VCR and record a good 8 hours of the raw feed, but never had any luck. And good luck trying to get a network to come off of a copy.

When I get the time, I want to post a thread summarizing the things that really stand out in the "real time" CNN 9/11/01 coverage with 20/20 hindsight.

Watching the CNN 9/11/01 real time coverage was the first time I discovered the leader of the group described by Barry Goldwater as the Nonelected Rulers, Henry Kissenger, happened to be in Germany giving a speech on 9/11.

It appears the Nonelected Rulers have ways of taking care of the own.(i.e. "take my advice my friend, there is a trip you really want to make, take my word for it")
