Alex has posted the link to send an email to President Samuelson of BYU in regards to the decision to place Professor Steven Jones on leave because of his 9/11 work. I just sent an email, here's my text. Please write to Pres. Samuelson, but be polite and judicious in your words, as you know they want to paint us all as cranks.

Mehitable's message:

Dear President Samuelson:

I hope you will reconsider your decision to place Prof. Jones on leave because of his investigative work on 9/11. I understand your concerns as an institution about valid research and no doubt, being involved in ANY controversy, however, what Prof. Jones is doing is critical to the ongoing freedom and the continuance of Constitutional government in the United States.

If it is even POSSIBLE, if there is any POSSIBILITY, however remote, that a small group of men in or affiliated with, the United States government could plan and execute something like a 9/11 to further their own political, economic and military interests, that POSSIBILITY MUST be investigated. It is the central issue of our time - of this young millennium, as so much of what has transpired with two American wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, tens of thousands of dead soldiers and civilians, the erosion of civil liberties and freedoms here in the US and in the West in general - evolves FROM this event. It is the fulcrum around which all the policy and action of this administration revolves.

I can understand the skepticism of many towards the 9/11 Truth movement as it is extremely hard for people to believe that we could be led by men so corrupt as this. But ask yourself, are there men, in this government or any government, who are indeed so corrupt and lacking in principle, that they might be willing to sacrifice the deaths of 3000 of their fellow countrymen for BILLIONS of dollars - untold wealth - and power greater than any possessed heretofore on earth? Of course, the answer is yes, as the answer is always yes in every country and time. Are there enough questions raised by Prof. Jones and his colleagues about what really happened on 9/11 to warrant a new and open and independent investigation? I believe so. If you do some preliminary research, even in discussion with Prof. Jones himself, you will see that there are questions about the events of 9/11 from every conceivable perspective - physical, economic, and logistical. I just ask that you be open-minded enough, not to believe necessarily, but to allow an investigation to continue, and not to close the door on the asking of questions. When we stop asking questions, the Republic dies.

Please give Prof. Jones the leeway to continue his incredibly important research into this topic. He is a genuine American hero and patriot. Do you really want to be the forced that stopped him, and others like him, from maintaining and preserving this great experiment in democracy that is the Republic of the United States?

Thank you. Subscribe to *9-11*

I wonder what pressure was brought to bear.

"If there’s another 9/11 or a major war in the Middle-East involving a U.S. attack on Iran, I have no doubt that there will be, the day after or within days an equivalent of a Reichstag fire decree that will involve massive detentions in this country."

Only a puke would punish a professor for scientific research. No offense to mormons, as I have actually known several of them and they seem to be very moral sincere people. But their religion is a loony cult which is deeply tied into masonic rituals. Samuelson should not serve his degenerate NWO masters. (and Samuelson- while we're at it, Jesus and satan were not 'brothers', and mormons will not become a 'god' when they die, (as mormons believe) you freaking fruitcake.

Perhaps I should not send him a letter eh? I'm not going to plead with some punk anyway, it would do as good as writing letters to congress.

It might just be the common instinct of large institutions to avoid controversy and to keep a low profile. Most organizations, including universities, just want to make money and BYU probably isn't any different. But if we don't at least attempt to protest, how will they know there are any left to object?

It's hard to say what's going on - I note that Mike Malloy was fired from Air America, allegedly over money, but it was so sudden and so badly handly, that the likelihood is that he was fired over content. Mike Malloy is another 9/11 truther. There are those who have a tremendous need for this story NOT to be told.
