The advocation of worship and idolization of a mere man by these weakminded dolts is disgusting and discouraging.
It is obscene is what it is. And it sure a hell ain't "christian!" They're also worshipping the flag as well...an idol..one which today stands for FASCISM.
I reitterate my catch in my post 1: "Did anyone notice the segue from this idiot lady to regular youth pastors and Christian youth camps, in a slick attempt to link them all. PROPAGANDA> THIS I think is the most important thing to notice from this piece, not just that the lady is nuts. Look between the lines at what it tries to insinuate about ALL Christians. Don't be distracted by the surface fluff of the idiot lady. This is pure conditioning and mind control propaganda put out by someone with an agenda to demonize all Christians.
It's no different than the article about the rapist emphasizing that he was a "witch" which is a backsided attempt to slander Wiccans.
It ain't just these fringe freaks either. Mainline Evangelical "Church" services are laced with this idolatry. The good "reverend" Hagee's Mega Arena Church has televised services and he has "preached" in front of a gigantic American flag a building story tall that takes up the whole stage with images of fighter jets screaming overhead on large screen TV's. The hallways of his Arena church have pictures of all the past prime ministers of Israel on the wall!

Bingo. That ought to tell us who is really in charge of these conmen right there. I haven't been to a brick church in many years. It's all show and has nothing to do with faith. Pharisees would love it..It has also become nothing but a political pulpit, both for the DRATS in black churches mostly and for the RRATS in these mostly white megachurches.
It's the opposite of what Christ taught: "Go and pray in secret." Unlike the Pharisees who wanted to show everyone how "perfect" they were.

Ahh, if only we could give these super sized, stupefied, video, rock music sprinkled temples one small man entering all of them. I would bet any amount that what he would have to say to them about their self serving, self gratifying money and power making operation would piss them off so much, they would be the ones to nail him up this time.
Perhaps it is my ubringing in the restrained and reserved atmosphere of North Eastern Catholic Church services in which a guitar or drum set being used during Mass would have been viewed as protestant heresy- but to this day- if a Church has more than an pipe organ- to me- it may as well be a revival tent service with a white silk suited bourban drinking hick doing faith healing.
