"Pastor" Becky Fischer
Exactly why women should not be pastors, which is backed up in the New Testament. She is completely blind, humanistic based rather than spiritual based, a nutcase and a whole lot of other adjectives I can't mention here.
Am I advocating passivity? LMAO...Hell no!!! But this nutcase has kids worshipping pictures of BUSH for Pete's sake!! She's on the wrong side of Christ. Christ was not a fascist which is what she advocates. Lucifer has a good thing going at this place.
When the time comes to fight in God's army, her army will be standing with the enemy of the Patriot's Revolution, including being an enemy of REAL Christians fighting for JUSTICE and FREEDOM. Did anyone notice the segue from this idiot lady to regular youth pastors and Christian youth camps, in a slick attempt to link them all. PROPAGANDA>
BTW It's also a propaganda HIT PIECE meant to disparage all Christians. I wonder what Jew wrote it?
How long until all Christians are rounded up. Like I've always said, the concentration camps are NOT for Mexicans and Muslims.

Can you provide scripture recitation for women not being pastors? I specifically want something besides Paul's mention of women remaining silent in church--because I believe that was written to a specific congregation where women were disruptive. The O.T. had Deborah as Judge, i.e., spiritual ruler/leader.
I agree with you that this fisher woman is off the reservation with this whacked out crap.
And for that idiot from the seminary to say it isn't propaganda shows his ignorance of his own profession! If children were suddenly told that a "C" was actually "A", and it was hit home to them a bazillion times, an alligator as we know it would suddenly become a calligator! And we wouldn't even be eating apples because no one could say they wanted a 'cpple'!!!
Can you provide scripture recitation for women not being pastors? The OT had Deborah as a judge...
A bishop [pastor] must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behavior, given to hospitality, apt to teach; not given to wine, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre; but patient, not a brawler, not covetous; one that ruleth well in his own house; having his children in subjection with all gravity; not a nove; holding fast the faithful Word as he hath been taught, that he may be able by sound doctrine both to exhort and to convince the gainsayers. {I Tim 3, Titus 1) -From Luthers Small Catechism
Read I TIM in entirety. It also addresses pastors and leaders of the church. It clearly states that these are MEN.
Read Titus 1: 7-9.
(1Timothy 2:12) "But I suffer not (allow not) a woman to teach nor to usurp authority over the man but to be in silence." Now this verse in context is talking about the ministry of the local church. In 1 timothy 3:2 it says the bishop or pastor is to be the 'husband of one wife'. Clearly, a woman cannot be the 'husband' of one wife.
It is true that women 'prophesied' in the early days of the New Testament before the Bible was completed, and they witnessed to others and did many wonderful things...but there is not one instance in the New Testament or the Epistles (which were written especially to the church) where you ever find a woman as a Pastor of a church, teaching or preaching to men, or exercising authority over them, in any way, in any local church. God has reserved that ministry to men. Throughout the history of the early church, the facts substantiate that there were no women Pastors. Only when we reach the 1900's do we begin to see women Pastors coming on the scene. It is true that Deborah was a judge back in the Old Testament. But if one studies the situation closely it was because Israel had digressed to such a backslidden state that there were no men qualified and brave enough to step forth and lead. In fact, God had predicted that a sign of His judgement upon His backslidden people would be that women would rule over them! (Isaiah 3:12) What does that tell us about our society today?
Some try to ignore these verses that we have quoted and claim they do not apply for today, but you cannot get that from the text or from anywhere in the Bible. And history seems to back it up. No women were Pastors for nearly 2000 years!! Why?? This seems to be God's ordained way that He wanted for the leadership in the New Testament Church! Now once again, this is not saying that women are inferior in any way! It is just the way that God said He wanted it...the Leadership in the government in the New Testament Church is to be male. Now I realize in this day of the FEMINIST MOVEMENT many women do not like this.
women are under-appreciated and under-utilized in the church. There are many gifted women who might very well do a better job at preaching and teaching than many men. However, it isn't gifting that is the issue, but God's order and calling. What does the Bible say? We cannot come to God's word with a social agenda and make it fit our wants. Instead, we must change and adapt to what it says.
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth, the garden of Eden, and Adam and Eve. He put Adam in the garden and gave him the authority to name all the animals. Afterwards, God made Eve as a helper to Adam.(1) This is an important concept because Paul refers to the order of creation in his epistle to Timothy when he discusses the relationship between men and women in the church context. Let's take a look.
"But I do not allow a woman to teach or exercise authority over a man, but remain quiet. For it was Adam who was first created, and then Eve. And it was not Adam who was deceived, but the woman being quite deceived, fell into transgression" (1 Tim. 2:12-14 -- all quotes from the Bible are from the NASB). This passage has several interesting areas of discussion, but for our purpose we will focus on authority. At the very least, there is an authority structure set up by God. The woman is not to have authority over the man in the church context. But this does not extend to the political/economic world. In the Old Testament Deborah was a judge in Israel over men. Also, in the New Testament, Phoebe played an important role in the church at Cenchrea (Romans 16). There is no doubt that women supported Paul in many areas and were great helpers in the church (Act 2:17; 18:24; 21:8). But what Paul is speaking of in 1 Tim. 2 is the relationship between men and women in the church structure, not in a social or political context.
When we look further at Paul's teachings we see that the bishop/overseer is to be the husband of one wife (1 Tim. 3:2) who manages his household well and has a good reputation (1 Tim. 3:4-5, 7). Deacons must be "men of dignity"(1 Tim. 3:8). Paul then speaks of women in verse 11 and their obligation to receive instruction. Then in verse 12, Paul says "Let deacons be husbands of one wife..." Again, in Titus 1:5-7, Paul says, "For this reason I left you in Crete, that you might set in order what remains, and appoint elders in every city as I directed you, namely, if any man be above reproach, the husband of one wife, having children who believe, not accused of dissipation or rebellion. For the overseer must be above reproach as God's steward..." Notice that Paul interchanges the word 'elder' and 'overseer'.
In each case, the one who is an elder, deacon, bishop, or overseer is instructed to be male. He is the husband of one wife, responsible, able to "exhort in sound doctrine and to refute those who contradict" (Titus 1:9). We see no command for the overseers to be women. On the contrary, women are told to be "dignified, not malicious gossips, but temperate, faithful in all things" (1 Tim. 3:11). Why is it that it is the men who are singled out as the overseers? It is because of the created order of God that Paul references (Gen. 1-2; 1 Tim. 2:12-14). This is not merely a social custom that fell away with ancient Israel.
Additionally, in the Old Testament in over 700 mentions of priests, every single one was a male. There is not one instance of a female priest. This is significant because priests were ordained by God to hold a very important office of ministering the sacrifices. This was not the job of women.
Therefore, from what I see in Genesis 1-2, 1 Timothy 2, and Titus 1, the normal and proper person to hold the office of elder/pastor is to be a man.

You can disagree with it all you want, but you can not refute it. The Bible is quite clear on the topic.
God's word clearly tells us that the elder is to be the husband of one wife. A woman cannot qualify for this position by virtue of her being female. Whether anyone likes it or not is irrelevant to the fact that this is what the Bible teaches.

Snake dancing, dirt rolling, jibberish spewing tribal pagans with a Christian label. The reason why these nutters have to get ever more radical and ever more absurdly literal is because their "faiths" are cheap knock offs made up out of whole cloth by their local literate small town con man. It's like they went to Walmart to shop for a religion.

The advocation of worship and idolization of a mere man by these weakminded dolts is disgusting and discouraging.
It is obscene is what it is. And it sure a hell ain't "christian!" They're also worshipping the flag as well...an idol..one which today stands for FASCISM.
I reitterate my catch in my post 1: "Did anyone notice the segue from this idiot lady to regular youth pastors and Christian youth camps, in a slick attempt to link them all. PROPAGANDA> THIS I think is the most important thing to notice from this piece, not just that the lady is nuts. Look between the lines at what it tries to insinuate about ALL Christians. Don't be distracted by the surface fluff of the idiot lady. This is pure conditioning and mind control propaganda put out by someone with an agenda to demonize all Christians.
It's no different than the article about the rapist emphasizing that he was a "witch" which is a backsided attempt to slander Wiccans.

It ain't just these fringe freaks either. Mainline Evangelical "Church" services are laced with this idolatry. The good "reverend" Hagee's Mega Arena Church has televised services and he has "preached" in front of a gigantic American flag a building story tall that takes up the whole stage with images of fighter jets screaming overhead on large screen TV's. The hallways of his Arena church have pictures of all the past prime ministers of Israel on the wall!

Bingo. That ought to tell us who is really in charge of these conmen right there. I haven't been to a brick church in many years. It's all show and has nothing to do with faith. Pharisees would love it..It has also become nothing but a political pulpit, both for the DRATS in black churches mostly and for the RRATS in these mostly white megachurches.
It's the opposite of what Christ taught: "Go and pray in secret." Unlike the Pharisees who wanted to show everyone how "perfect" they were.

"...for the RRATS in these mostly white megachurches."
Ahh, if only we could give these super sized, stupefied, video, rock music sprinkled temples one small man entering all of them. You know, the one that is said to have assaulted the money changers in the Temple screaming, "My temple should be a house of prayer! But you have made it a den of thieves! Get out!"
I would bet any amount that what he would have to say to them about their self serving, self gratifying money and power making operation would piss them off so much, they would be the ones to nail him up this time.

Perhaps it is my ubringing in the restrained and reserved atmosphere of North Eastern Catholic Church services in which a guitar or drum set being used during Mass would have been viewed as protestant heresy- but to this day- if a Church has more than an pipe organ- to me- it may as well be a revival tent service with a white silk suited bourban drinking hick doing faith healing.
"When Nathan Radlich's house was burgled, thieves left his TV, his VCR, and even left his watch. What they did take was "generic white cardboard box filled with grayish-white powder." (That at least is the way the police described it.)
A spokesman for the Fort Lauderdale police said "that it looked similar to cocaine and they'd probably thought they'd hit the big time."
Then Nathan stood in front of the TV cameras and pleaded with the burglars: "Please return the cremated remains of my sister, Gertrude. She died three years ago."
Well, the next morning, the bullet-riddled corpse of a drug dealer known as Hoochie Pevens was found on Nathan's doorstep. The cardboard box was there too; about half of Gertrude's ashes remained. And there was this note.
It said: "Hoochie sold us the bogus blow, so we wasted Hoochie. Sorry we snorted your sister. No hard feelings. Have a nice day."

Husband of one wife as in meaning a non-divored man, or one with more than one wife.
Thank you for your response and input; and I'm sure I shall be following thru on reading all the citations.
One thing I noticed is that you mentioned Deborah being in place at a time when legit, honest men weren't to be found. And then in the rest of the thread, there is mention of the likes of Hagee, and no doubt there would/could be comments on the likes of many other 'named' and 'not so named' 'pastors/preachers/organists/whatever the label'. Sort of makes the point, doesn't it. Sex doesn't have much to do with whether or not someone is preaching/teaching God's word. Until I"m moved to a different course, I'll take a woman teaching His word over the likes of a Falwell, Robertson, Hagee, Osteen, and many many others who can, and are, all over the place.
