Khazaria was finally wiped out by the forces of Genghis Khan, but evidence indicates that the Khazars themselves migrated to Poland and formed the cradle of Western Jewry. . . The Khazars' sway extended from the Black Sea to the Caspian, from the Caucasus to the Volga, and they were instrumental in stopping the Muslim onslaught against Byzantium, the eastern jaw of the gigantic pincer movement that in the West swept across northern Africa and into Spain. In the second part of this book, "The Heritage," Mr. Koestler speculates about the ultimate faith of the Khazars and their impact on the racial composition and social heritage of modern Jewry. He produces a large body of meticulously detailed research in support of a theory that sounds all the more convincing for the restraint with which it is advanced. Yet should this theory be confirmed, the term "anti-Semitism" would become void of meaning, since, as Mr. Koestler writes, it is based "on a misapprehension shared by both the killers and their victims. The story of the Khazar Empire, as it slowly emerges from the past, begins to look like the most cruel hoax which history has ever perpetrated." Note this; the term "anti-Semitism" would become void of meaning … Why? Because what are called Jews today are not of the Semitic blood line. What the Critics have to say! (1977) -- In 1976 Random House published a book that should have hit the Christian Churches like a blockbuster, but instead they chose totally to ignore it. It dealt with the racial origin of the people in Communist and Christian countries who call themselves "Jews," and whom the Churches (and the Jews themselves) generally insist are "God's Chosen People," the Israelite descendants of Abraham. The Jewish influence on American life has reached such a stage that no student of contemporary history can ignore it. Not only the news media are Jewish monopolies, but top positions in the U.S. government are largely filled by Eastern European Jews. The magazine and book publishing houses are in Jewish hands; and movies, television, and the other entertainment industries are dominated by Jews in all phases. America's government and most of her people's sources of information are controlled and directed by Jews. How come you don't look at the Old Testament where God swears the land to them forever. In other place the Lord describes it that they will be his people as long as day and night exist e.t.c. The whole counsel of God is consistent. In the Old Testament, in Genesis, the land was promised to Abraham's seed. Galatians 3:26-29 in the New Testament identifies Abraham's seed as those who are Christ's, whether Jew or Gentile. In other words: Christians. For those who might like to claim that the land was promised to "Israel," fine. Galatians 6:16 identifies Christians as the "Israel of God." Indeed, the books of Daniel (Old Testament) and Revelation (New Testament) state that the kingdoms of this world shall become the property of God's people; that is Christians. Revelation 2:26 adds that overcomers (who have the testimony of Jesus) will be given "power over the nations." In other words, Christians will have power over all the nations, will possess all the land, including the physical nation of Israel and all Arab nations. Eventually, Peter says there will be new heavens and a new earth. This is God's promise to Abraham's seed fulfilled. The people of God, His people forever, are those of faith in Christ Jesus. You seem to be insisting that flesh trumps spirit. But, God's people, His Chosen, worship Him in spirit and in Truth (John 3:3). All flesh is corrupt, and shall return to dust from whence it came, but God's people are born of "incorruptible seed," for flesh and blood cannot enter the Kingdom of heaven. Earthly (fleshy) Jerusalem, is identified as "Sodom and Egypt" (Rev. 11:9) but Paul says heavenly Jerusalem (spirit-based) is "the Mother of us all" (Galatians 4:25-26). Finally, please note Romans 8:9-10, "Now if any man have not the spirit of Christ, he is none of His." Alina, isn't it ridiculous for the Judaizers to exalt corruptible Jewish flesh when God's Word says that if a Jew (or Gentile) does not have God's Spirit, he is not of God? Moreover, how can a Jew be "God's Chosen" if that person does not have the Spirit of Christ? Does it make sense to assert, as do the Judaizers, that unregenerated Jews are Abraham's seed as if their DNA made them automatically holy? The Jews are not of Christ because they don't have His Spirit. The Jews are of Antichrist because they despise God's doctrines. The Jews are going to hell because they are not born again. How, then, can hell-destined people be God's Chosen, the apple of His eye? If Jews in the flesh are God's Chosen, then ask yourself: Chosen for what? Perdition? What kind of chosenness is that? Why would God "choose" the apple of His eye to spend eternity in Hell? In fact, God's Chosen People are not destined for hell. They're on their way to glory, to reign with Jesus as their Lord and King. Peter identifies these people in I Peter 2:9-10 when he writes of Christians (not Jews, not Gentiles, but Christians): "But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people, the people of God..." If the Judaizers wish to argue further, let them call God's Apostle, Peter, a liar, and me as well, because I agree with Peter and with the Scriptures. Well, you were doing fine right up until you posted that screed from Texe Marrs, whoever the hell he is. I think this idea, that Western Jews are descended not from Abraham's blood, but from a bunch of Mongols, pisses the Jews off a lot more than it would a Christian. So an Irishman finds out that the original Welsh are actually descended from Eskimos by way of Lapland... Who gives a shit. He's still Irish. But if a Jew finds out he's descended not from Abraham but from Genghis Tom, the goatherding Tatar, suddenly his racial identity is called into question. I suspect this is why posts along these lines got pulled from LP at various times. For a supposedly tolerant and multicultural people, the Jews seem awful sensitive about an irrelevancy like their bloodlines...

As I said in the post, I do not agree with much of what Marrs has to say; however, many people do listen to him, and what he wrote connects with a lot of supposedly Christian people, many of whom reject the rest of this post, just, I might add, as Texe Marrs does. And you are very confused if you think that the bloodline of the Khazar Jews is an irrelevancy. The principle theme throughout the last 60 years of bloodshed in the middle east has centered around the RIGHT of the Jews to possess that land, as per the Bible. And, most so-called Christian ministers unreservedly support that view, and tell their congregations that every Sun-day, week after week. And if you do not think that is important, look very carefully at the support of the Christian right for all of George Bush´s actions in the middle east, all of which are centered around support for Israel.
Well, I'm a Lutheran, and we take the position that when Jesus withered the fig tree, it meant something; when he said he could raise up his children from the stones, it meant something; and when he said that he had entered a new covenant, it was the truth. There is no holy land. There is no "God's people" based on their bloodline. We carry our holy land in our hearts; we carry Christ's blood in our bodies... But that's us wacky Lutherans for you. But that's us wacky Lutherans for you. Always being so "literal"... I was raised Lutheran [MS], as were my brothers and sisters. My brother attended seminary for a couple of years. They still think the Jews are the chosen people. One, who hardly ever attended church or read the Bible, proceeded to jump all over with me with her "knowledge" of the Bible. I didn't attend much either, so it was easy for me to break out of the brainwashing. I tried to tell another one of them a couple of years ago, and got a tongue-lashing and weeping. She almost called me a Nazi. She attends an ELC, which I tried to tell her a few years ago was part of the One World Religion. Wow. I'm MS myself, and I don't have any idea how your sibs could go through MS seminary and come out thinking the Jews are the chosen people anymore... Certainly that's not our pastor's position. The Jews broke their covenant with God, and they are no longer God's people (other than in the way that we all are God's people). I always figured that was pretty central to Christian theology, but the lunatic apocalyptic fringe keeps messing it up...

Your pastor must have missed the wolves sent into the seminaries by Rothschild/Rockefeller/Schiff to spread their fairy tales. I am pretty amazed myself, that I fell for it, too! My daughter never said anything for a long time, but she finally told me she never could understand how the Jews were the Chosen People, since they rejected and crucified Christ. Out of the mouths of Babes.
